i thought of writing an os considering NAVINA JIJI as lead character as her birthday gift so here i go with my os
DREAMER IN FANTACY
The clock read quarter to eight as i looked up to my mom ,she was tried and exhausted after the whole days work as i pulled the end of her sarii with my tiny fingure and she looked at me
ME:mumma won't you say me a bed time story
MOM:beta mumma is too tried today so mumma cannot say
ME:but mumma without a bedtime story i cannot fall asleep
its ok today papa will tell you a bed time story ,i turned around it was dad after a long day he came and slept beside me i was in middle of my parents as my dad gave his smirk and looked at my mom and said
DAD:Navina today i will tell my daughter a bed time story
MOM;but ashish aren't you tried after the days long shoot its ok i will tell her you go off to sleep
DAD;no wifey even you go to office and you work harder than me so its my turn
i chuckled at dad mentioning mom as wifey he does this often in my absence my mom at first blushed then finally said
MOM:Ashish i have said you a millions of time not to call me by those name in front of ashvina
DAD:OK i am sorry [catching his ears] now can i continue
MOM:Ok
dad looked towards me and started the story
Once upon a time in Delhi there was a boy named ashish kapoor of nearly 17 he was like any other kids of his age he disliked studies and always played prank on teachers his concentration was never on one thing but he had focus on only two things the first was acting he grew up watching movie and he had a passion for acting ,he was determined that he wanted to become an actor and being from a liberal punjabi family they could not deny there only son's wish and his second focus was his first love and his neighbour 's daughter navina , a brilliant intellingent student and his classmate he had a huge crush on the girl but the girl just could not take her eyes off her books ,she was very serious about her life and she had a passion for being a doctor , the boy was the life of the entire locality and society in spite of his notorious behaviour all the people loved him as he was very helpfull and sweet and as for the girl she hardly existed for anyone other than the boy she was indeed the most beautiful girl in the place but she had made herself isolated just with her books and her results spoke goldenly ,all girls drooled upon ashish but he after school rushed to library just to see her hiding behind the huge book self while she took notes how badly he wished every time a stand of hair disturbed her face to softly push it back days flew there class eleven exams were over and it was time for there prom each girl or boy was supposed to ask someone for a date ashish has decided to ask navina out and then on there date he would propose her it was a perfect plan but the problem was how would he ask her out he had never been nervous but this girl bought sparks to his heart now only a day was left he had been asked by many girls but he rejected them all and his friend taunted him telling that navina would never agree and even if she does she will ot come for the party ,she will betray him but he did not hear any one ,now he was in the library standing behind a book shelf and looking at her with the space in middle of two books, after sometime she stood up and went away he stood there waiting for her but she did not appear finally thinking that she went he turned back to leave but he dashed into someone making all the books the other carried fall ,he bend down and they both bend down to pick up the books as he took a book and handed her his eyes were hooked as it was none other than navina herself he quickly snapped out of his dreamer in fantacy and almost in a whisper
ASHISH:navina
NAVINA;ashish you here since when did you start taking intrest in books
she said with a smile and got up checking on her dress by that time even ashish got up and smirked saying
ASHISH:since the day you started coming to library
NAVINA:did any one say you that you are very flirty
she made a move to go but he placed both his hands on either side of the shelf making her path block as she looked at him and smiled while he said
ASHISH:did'nt anyone tell that when someone is speaking you should not leave
NAVINA:so you have something else to tell me
ASHISH:i do i have to ask you whether umm i mean our school then our examz umm then your studies...you are so beautiful
NAVINA:Was this the thing you needed to ask me
ASHISH:no no i ummm i mean ummm
NAVINA:fine i am leaving
ASHISH:i wanted to ask whether you will be my date for tommoroow 's prom
NAVINA:ok fine then meet you at 8
ASHISH:yea 8 sounds great i will come to pick you up
NAVINA:ashish
ASHISH:what?
NAVINA;Are you planning to keep me trapped like this for whole life
ASHISH:hmm not a bad idea why
NAVINA; chall hat pare halkat kahika
saying this she slightly pushed him away and rushed outside while he remained there blushing furiously
THE NEXT EVENING
The hall was decorated beautifully with streamers ,baloons ,flowers and lights the room was filled with soft romantic music as all the couples started to dance even ashvina {ASHish +naVINA= ASHVINA}they danced perfectly without even missing a step as he bought his lips to her ears and whispered
ASHISH:I love you
NAVINA:i know
ASHISH;WHAT BUT HOW I NEVER TOLD YOU
NAVINA:no you did 'nt but your majnugiri did
ASHISH:majnugiri means
NAVINA:means you stayed back in library to spend time with me then fighting for me without my knowledge admiring me in the whole class ,stopping any funny acts just by seeing me ,admiring me whole time ,making sure i reach home safely stealing school student record book just to get birthday and loving me soo much but you know what ashish there is a girl in our class who does feel the same for you
ASHISH;no navina no one can have the same feeling as mine i love you i can do anything for you i am not bad i know you heard a lot bad thing about ,me but i am a good guy at heart today even if you reject me i won't regret instead i will be happy that i could atleats tell you about my feeling that i kept hidden for so many years
NAVINA:don't you want to know the name of the girl ashish
she brought her mouth close to his ears and whispered
NAVINA:its me
he looked at her with his eyes almost popping out
NAVINA:i used to stick ur pic in my book and when people think i am studing i actually used to admire it ,used to pray for you every night ,i used to steal glances when you were not looking around and ashish i too love you the way you do i was just waiting for you to take the first step and thanks my star you took
he pulled her in for a hug ,he hugged her tightly as he whispered
ASHISH:I love you navina
NAVINA:I love you too ashish
the night was the most memorable night in there life
ashish looked sideways at her 5 ashvina she was fast asleep in her mother embrace ,she slept in the half way of the story and navina herself slept too ,ashish pulled the blanket covering them as he took a strand of her hair and pushed it back of her ears as he had always wished for and whispered
