Dear members,

This is an open topic for all fan-bases and I do not wish to initiate a topic which gets all the attention and quarreling and ends up getting closed without serving its true motive. That is to say, my motive here is solely to share my own idea about D3 as of today in an unbiased fashion.

I would take the liberty of doing the unexpected and begin with Taani. She is not a character I would watch a show for but I respect that her fans do. But as it is she's one of the most pivotal characters of the only Hindi show I follow and hence I discuss her. She's insecure and unreasonable but relative in what she is presently doing. I don't boast of liking her but I do not hate her. Besides if anything I think the writers are trying really hard to develop her into a meaningful character. And I wish them well in their endeavors and the actress in her pursuit to portray her.

I'll speak of Sharon now and I will say that she isn't the Sharon we all knew her to be anymore. She is maturer, calmer and a great deal more in control of herself for good than before. But with the loss of Sneha Kapoor we also lost most of the substance that their was to Sharon. Vrushika Mehta is a very efficient actress and dancer and her version of Sharon is very, very likable. But I would not lie that I can ever love or admire Sharon with the passion I did earlier. That is gone. This Sharon in her entirety is new and if I am to evaluate Swayum and Sharon now I would not do so on the basis of my earlier understanding of them but purely on the basis of the current shade of them. I still admire them but in a very different light.

Lastly I shall speak of the show on the whole. It has transformed greatly and into nothing I like very much. The characters have all come a long way, though. They are dancing more often now. The story is being done good experiments to. There is scope for a lot of greatness and I wish them all very well and hope to be entertained well.

And if you are wondering about why I have even made this post, let's just say I wanted to put forth my opinion being one loyal viewer of the show and thus welcome your personal and honest thoughts about the show currently, keeping couple wars aside. =)

Epiphany.

well this is the first time i am commenting on your post...

well i liked how you evaluated today's episode..

well about sharon.. what you wrote is absolutely correct... cv's are showing that she has matured.. but its too immediately.. just after asthma revelation.. so although i am liking it.. but yeah the passion is not the same... because i dont know how to put this... but sharon can never be calm if someone points at her... well if cv's will keep on showing this... swaron's intensity and passion will all be gone and will be replaced by cuteness and adorableness... and that i will not appreciate... yeah cvs really need to buck up for that.. and remember actors have changed not character..

GANG.. what to say about them.. they had really come a long way... like from spoilt brats to someone who are willingly and happily dancing at a birthday party... putting aside their egos.. so hope cv's continue doing experiments..

aditi

p.s.. i love you writing style

I agree about taani.
and Sharon. yes she is totally a different person then the one that sneha portrayed. she has become the ordinary likable character which is great but that's not the sharon i know. Yes the spark and fire is missing from swaron scenes but i think thats because vrushika is portraying sharon very differently from what we are used to. I know she is trying her best but...

Nice post and to be honest I feel the exact same for Sharon.
I mean I tried to watch D3 when Vrushika came cause I wanted to see SwaRon together but after seeing her I realised that the Sharon I fell in love with was gone.
It's not like Vrushika isn't trying but it's just not the same anymore.

You know the other day my friend who is not really a huge TanHa fan , saw Vrushika and Shantanu scene and then she came up to me and she said ki yaar this girl is okay but I liked the previous one more.. Jab hawaa bhi chalti thi toh bhi woh itni acchi acting karti thi !! 😆 😆

Taani i wud refrain from commenting on coz if i do honestly i might just end up getting a warning...😆
And abt SwaRon...at times whenever i felt watching a scene of new SwaRon that SK wud hv done a better job here immediately my brain reminds me that had SK been in the show half the scenes wudn't hv been there in the 1st place and storyline wud hv been absolutely different much to our discontent as a lot of basic scenes wch are required to be in a love-story or so to say simple things wch a viewer expects from a love-story wudn't have been there in the 1st place coz of SK's reservations...nd those above me who are saying the spark in new SwaRon is missing,i wud like to say the spark had absolutely vanished even from tanha wala swaron scenes of endless mu's post confession and even tanha's chemistry and excellent acting cudn't save those scenes from being hell boring...
So as for me... new SwaRon is definitely entertaining me much much more than those horrid 2 months of tanha wala SwaRon scenes post confession where we were served bull-crap in the name of entertainment and romance coz of SK's reservations and if that wud hv continued forever i wud hv defo bid gudbye to the show long back.
And as for Vrush...she really has surprised me with her improvement in acting and its just been 3 months anyways...I mean within 3 months of one's debut how gud were TanHa also??If i remember...pretty average they were too.

I love your post. It was pleasant to read and sent out positive vibes.
I completely agree that Taani's character is not something I would want to watch a show for but since the CVs are trying to make the character more meaningful I will not give up and hope they succeed in doing so. At this moment she is a mess but hopefully she comes out of it soon and after learning an important life lesson.

Coming to Sharon, yes, here also I have to agree that after the exit of Sneha Kapoor the character has matured. The equation between Swaron has become different but still hasn't progressed sadly.

And to sum it up, the show itself has matured over the years.

well i agree.. but what i really meant its not vrush.. its cv's who are suddenly doing character change for sharon which i am not able to understand.. she had suddenly turned into swayam.. that is sensible mature understanding types.. after asthma revelation... the scenes no doubt are sweet... but not passionate... and well extra sweetness leads to diabetes

I agree with ur post. I love Taani. But still I think she still has to be developed. You are right, they are trying to develop her. For me, she has been that love oriented person who keeps others before her. Thinks about others first. The all good, nice beautiful girl. And in the world, these kind of persons always have the most worst experiences. And when they get so many bad experiences, its too hard for them to be ok because of the sudden change situations. But then they mature. Its part of growing up(written as a psychology student).
And about Sharon too I agree. That is why I still find it hard to forget Tanha because of your points and still feel like crying when I remember that we will never see Sneha di on tv. Its a loss.
