Oh, first let me count the symbolic interruptions and claims.
1. Razia pulled the cable of the landline so that Gaffur and Zoe could not talk. That symbolizes Razia as the great wall of Bhopal between father and daughter.
2. Asad has major issues with 'Raabert' and he made his displeasure very clear to Zoe. Zoe also didn't leave any stone unturned in telling Asad how much she hates the name 'Jammy'. This symbolizes Ayaan and Bhookhi Chudail Aurat as major hurdles in the union of AsYa as man and wife.
3. When Asad and Zoe were all cozying up in the bathroom, Ayaan's message disrupted the romance. This symbolizes that knowingly or unknowingly Ayaan will pull them apart. He might just end up hurting the man he loves the most in this world - and that signals to the ultimate sacrifice that he will make for Asad's happiness one day.
4. Both Asad and Ayaan ran after Zoe to paint her in colour but even with Ayaan behind her, Zoe landed straight into Asad's arms as he stood waiting to colour her. This is symbolic that Ayaan or no Ayaan, its Asad to whom Zoe will always go running - to her home. To Asad.
5. Humeira brought colour to smudge Ayaan. And she did paint him in his sleep. It shows the colour of her love on Ayaan and that is her right. In case of Asad darling , Zoe brought colour to paint him, but fearing his claws, she left it on a prank. Asad coloured her instead , in the bathroom. It shows that Asad has painted Zoe so intensely in emotions that Gaffur or Ayaan or whoever, Asad is the one Zoe will always be tied to.
Now, coming to the episode finally.
Asad's heart is fragile and like we had said before, the use of the word 'sautela' had actually hit him below the belt. I am happy that Asad made his hurt , humiliation and his tears evident to Ayaan by telling him that emotions are no free-for-all show. You cannot come and go out of sliding doors of sentiments. Emotions and relationships do not demand or command respect. They deserve respect. I am hoping that Ayaan will remember this before doing something silly again in his immaturity.
And Zoe? Who else can pull Zoe out of her Abbu issues than the thought of messing up with her beloved Mr. Asad Ahmed Khan. One moment , her pretty face was like a sunken gubbaara and one call from Raabert that we gotta paint Lion and Zoe's face shown bright like - Bas yahee maukaa hai jeene ka, abb zindagi na milegi dobaara. 🤣...As soon as Raabert told Mona about his plan to fuslaao and manaao Mona's Lion , Zoe was all cheery, pretty and glowing - Yayy! Happy Holi, Mr.Khan.
Its like so many of you have said so many times. Asad has filled a lot of voids in Zoe's life and this is the reason that even in her deepest sorrows, one glimpse or thought of Asad and Zoe bounces back to life. She once again puts Gaffur on the backburner and decides to go the Zoe way totally so that she can mess around with Asad. She sneaks into his room, then, into his bathroom, smudges his towels and night dreams that how gorgeous her Jahaanpanah will look when he looks like tomato ketchup the next morning. Why? To have his complete attention, to get a personal high out of his irritated - Miss. Farooqui, ye kya behoodgi hai. To see him rage, rant , roll his eyes and just feel gleeful and giddy on the inside.
Next morning, while the shot of Ayaan painting Humeira is cut short , you get to see Mr. Jahanpanah Six Packs being greeted by an over excited , competition-to-paparazzi Zoe dying to see Asad in classic sauce-waala red. But since her plan royally fails, her cute gibberish to avoid Asad's bouncers reveals her innocent attraction towards Asad - from 'aap dekhne ki cheez hain' to ' maine kab kahaa ki aap eye candy nahin hain'. There is so much innocence in Zoe's feelings and 'feelers' for Asad that Asad cannot help but feel amused, confused and then gloat in smirks. He knows she is attracted to him and Zoe is lucky that Asad has not started the tease on that part yet. Zoe will not know where to hide her face once Asad decides that beetroot is his favourite colour.
Zoe has awakened a side in Asad that is adorable, sweet, naughty, masculine on the fore front and above all, happy and fun. Its just starting to awaken and what Asad did in the bathroom with Zoe is a highlight of that. To drench Zoe in water, colour her red , wish her a Happy Holi and smugly announce - Plan ise kehte hain, Miss.Farooqui. To say yes to her Holi Party invite without a whimper. To smile at her like she was the new Bonsai decoration in his bathroom. Asad really has a beautiful side to him that is not bitter, judgmental , harsh or dictatorial. Its only that he is consciously scared of showing that side - remember, Asad is very fragile on the inside.
I loved the last scenes too. Ayaan is right that he is Asad's weakness. But i want Ayaan to remember these lessons as well. Asad loves you, don't take advantage of that. Respect him for all that he has done for you and the way he feels about you. Also, Asad catching Zoe and smudging her totally in his colour before Ayaan could reach her or see her face. It simply wrote Asad all over Zoe.
And i choose not to talk about Razia and BCA in the precap. Will taareefo them tabiyaat se tomorrow.
P.S - Zoe aaj bhi Asad ke gusse se kitnaa darti hai na? Asad was fuming over Ayaan and Ayaan should have been scared , or even Dilshie and Tamaatar. Lekin jaan Zoe ki niklii jaa rahi thi Asad ke khunkhaar gusse ke maare. 🤣
