@TM:- I would have been happy if they had showed Purvi and her Dad being little strong rather than Chanchan fighting their case. This was a good moment for the supporting cast to make their mark but unfortunately they didn't give any strong dialogues to purvi or her dad and so the whole thing was IMO preachy with Chanchan alone leading the fight. Since the makers had tacked the issue in their first week, I expected a better and a stronger reaction to be shown by Purvi and her Dad but here both were crying and being hapless and Chanchan leading the solo fight - I am okay with the lead being depicted as a strong girl but IMO the fight should have been called by Purvi and her Dad rightfully and the fight should have been strongly worded by both of them. And now I agree with you the way the show will go on with Manav and Chanchan falling in love with both unaware of their identities and then it would be Saas-Bahu takkar. Just was wishing this serial to be different because of Sanaya but looks like it is old wine in a new bottle.
I think the reason purvi & dad did not use strong words is bcuz they have a relationship of employer- employee with Umaben and did not want to insult her. Even Chhanchhan put her point across but not in insulting manner, which is what a modern thinking person with values would do.@TM:- I would have been happy if they had showed Purvi and her Dad being little strong rather than Chanchan fighting their case.
