So I wasn't quite impressed with the first episode yesterday. I loved Sanaya's scenes and the mandir scene the most but besides that, it seemed like an ordinary episode and they should have made it more grand seeing how well they promoted the show. They created a lot of hype but didn't quite live up to my expectations.
Today however, was much better and whole lot more interesting! They touched the dowry issue which was good considering it still exists in our society and it definitely added a more realistic feeling to the story. I loved the Uma Ben and Chanchan scenes. These two ladies are powerhouses of talent! Their scenes are amazing and I really look forward to those. I just think the background score for their scenes needs to change though. The music should add more intensity.
Now about the first scene with Farhan, I have to admit, I cringed. That was bad and I had to skip it.
His second scene with his mother was more natural and he did well in that. The last scene with Sanaya however, was his best one in the entire episode. This shows, Farhan will get better and better, all he needs is some time. I could see he got more into his role throughout the episode. So he definitely has potential, he just needs time. Also, I know it's early to say this, but SanAn scenes will be a treat to watch. Right now, they are just bickering and I'm really liking them together so I can only imagine how adorable they'll be once they fall in love!
Overall, a very good episode. Yesterday's episode got a 7/10 from me and today, I'll rate it 9/10. I have a feeling the real story and the drama will start once Manav and Chanchan fall in love and decide to get married. That's also when the TRPs will be the highest due to all the drama between the to be mother/daughter in law. Looking forward to it
