The episode starts with Meera chattering animatedly with the stranger in the car while on their way home. Alaka boards an auto rickshaw and hopes that she reaches the house first before Meera. While listening to Meera speak volumes about Benaras, the stranger falls asleep in the car out of exhaustion. On reaching home, Meera asks the driver not to wake him up and that she would carry his belongings inside the house to the guest room. đ
The Panditji who had previously prophesized that something bad was going to happen and that the lives of the members of the Bharadwaj House will change, is sitting inside with Ammaji. Ammaji hands over Meera's kundali to him and asks him to look into her future, since Alaka remains worried about her always. Panditji tells Ammaji that it is but natural for a Mother to stay worried for her child. He then leaves. Ammaji is in tears on hearing Panditji's words and says to herself that nobody would understand the significance of these words better than her. She opens a carved wooden box and takes out a photo frame. She looks at the photo and starts crying. đđđ
At that moment, Suli along with Ira comes to Ammaji. On Ira's instigation, Suli tells Ammaji that Sonu's would-be Mother-in-Law has hinted that during the auspicious wedding rituals of Sonu and her son, she would prefer Alaka to be absent from the spot, and that Suli had no other way but to accept her proposal. Ammaji is shocked and very hurt. đĄ
Meera comes inside dragging a huge bag with her and asks Ammaji as to where she should keep the stranger's belongings. Ammaji is furious to know that Meera has brought the stranger to the house without consulting the elders. At that point, Yash comes and tells Ammaji that it was his decision to bring the stranger as a guest to their house. Ammaji is not at all happy since she doesn't want any intrusion in the house during the wedding celebrations. She asks Yash to look for a different accommodation for the stranger, even though Yash tells her that all members of their family should be indebted to him for saving Meera. Ammaji also instructs Meera to take the belongings back to the car.
Meera is about to drag the bag back when a photo frame slips and falls from an open pocket in the bag. Ammaji is shocked to see her photo in the picture along with the stranger. Meera tells her that the bag belongs to the stranger whom she has brought to the house. Ammaji tells everyone that the picture is of her son, Shantanu's who had left the house some 20 years ago. Ammaji asks Ira to prepare a Puja ka thali to welcome Shan back to the house. She rushes outside to welcome him along with Meera and Yash, but finds the car empty. The driver tells her that the stranger has left after staring at the hosue for some time. Ammaji breaks down in tears and is helpless. Yash promises her that he will bring back Shan to the House since he is still in Benaras. đđđ
Shan is walking slowly with aid of a help stick when he comes face to face with Alaka. Sha asks him not to run away from his past and leave like a thief with his head bent, but should try to acknowledge his mistake and leave with his head held high. Shan tells her that he has not committed any mistake by going away. Alaka requests him to turn back and to cross the threshold of the house, if he has already reached its vicinity. đ
Shan turns back to see Ammaji, Yash and Meera waiting. Ammaji is in tears and she extends her hands towards Shan. He slowly walks towards his Mother and Ammaji embraces him lovingly. Everybody is in tears. đđđ
