I don't think he is dead.
But if he is dead then I think Shiv and Devika will try to hide the fact that Shiv accidentally pushed Alok down and pretend like nothing happened. Someone could have seen it and later blackmail them later or Gauri will come to know about it and take a new avatar 😉
