Serial and the trends

Every serial such as PSH starts with unique concept. The storyline is attractive for many episodes. Then the script writers have some mind block, can't think about interesting ideas and so cvs end up showing tracks that completely mess up with the storyline leading to drastic trp drop. TV channels such as Zee tv only wants to promote high trp gaining serials or the new serials so they stop promoting low trp ones and then eventually decide to make the serial go off air due to less viewership. Hearing about the serial being axed soon makes the minds of cvs/ script writers pop and they decide to end serial on good high note taking into account what viewers actually want. The viewers for the most part become happy again seeing the last few epis and wonder why the cvs didn't bring this track before as it could have gave the serial good trps, safeguarded the serial from going off air. One thing that is true for all serials like PSH is that once the storyline falls apart, it is difficult to fix the already messed up tracks unless they pay heed to the viewers which they don't do until near the very end. So the lesson cvs should get from this is to continuously listen to fans from the beginning as the trps depend on them, the viewers.

In simple...PSH creatives are just plainly dumb.

Well for the most part this is what happens. But there are also few cvs who don't pay heed to viewers at all leading to so much viewer frustration that some ultimately decide to stop watching it altogether. Sometimes I feel that the cvs in some cases purposely ruin the ending in order to end viewer addiction.
