Manish Malhotra unveils Bombay Talkies collection!

Manish Malhotra is proud to present 'Bombay Talkies', a collection celebrating 100 years ofIndian Cinema. The collection will be unveiled at Lakme Fashion Week on the 22nd of March, 2013 at 9:30 PM.

An ardent fan of the movies, Manish has recreated the magic of past decades. He pays tribute to the black and white films of the 1950s, the burst of colours in the 1960s, the flower power of the 1970s, and the disco fever of the 1980s. Especially evocative for Manish is the 1990s, which is when he started designing for films, reinventing pastels and chiffons for the big screen.

This landmark collection will be unveiled by some of Bollywood's biggest directors who will grace the ramp. The show will be closed by young actors who are heirs to the legacy of Bollywood.
