As we all know, Kumud is very comfortable being our intelligent, assertive heroine. Looking back at the episodes, I have gathered evidence as to why our powerful, billionaire Dubai businessman is a little afraid of this spunky village belle. Here's my list, feel free to add and share your thoughts.
1. She's a woman! And a proud, self-respecting, educated one. She demands respect .
2. She gives her back to him since the first conversation. Makes him feel unworthy of her attention a little awww š³. One point for Kumud for the revenge against the letter.
3. She tells him to get his point across and make himself scarce from her house as he's just the guest. She doesn't fawn over him like all the other girls because he's rich and kind of adorable š. Eventually this makes him angry and poor thing gets the rope burn š.
4. She burns into the rope burn when he asks if he hurt her that much. Yes, he did and she gave him a feel of it š.
5. She likes to occasionally swat him š¤£, playfully, especially when kite flying.
6. She likes to take the lead and she's competitive š
7. She gives him a good drenching in the pool to get her kite. Ok that backfired big time š
8. She likes to watch him at night with an axe-shaped metal fan at hand. š
9. She likes to fight him but if he shows some anger - she kicks him out. Little brat is used to getting all her wiles fulfilled (Dukhba confirmed). And you know brats, they are the most fun chase āļø
10. She doesn't like being told what to do ā¢ļø, only she does the bossing, as she said.
11. She can fight off and shut up a mob with just her words š!
12. She can charm and alarm Saras with the way she turns sharply š” to glare at him.
13. She calls him slow in his face and her way of flirting is teasing š³.
14. She can give a royal shunning when Saras dares to touch her kamar š¤£. Kumud Tez Dhar Desai is also Kumud-Touch-Me-Not Desai.
15. She needs a lot of pleading just to deign to extend her hand to him.
16. She is perceptive and knows she makes his heart skip beats.
17. She sets panic in Saras' heart with her save-the-day attitude.
18. She never shows him how much she wants him to stay because he didn't give her the right.
19. She sets down his "mom" with one-liners. Nice, proper, and cutting. He hasn't quite mastered that yet, so he's in awe.
20. She tells him he was not the root of any problem and he can leave. No desperation for him. She's hard to get.
21. She tells him to maintain his distance now that there is no chance of the relationship. 4 steps to be exact! š
22. She snaps at him quite often but with a lot of love. Kya hua Kumud? KUCH NAHI HUA. Leave me alone but don't leave. If you want to stay here, keep your distance.
23. She cuts to the chase that she's the possessive type and wants to know if he has a girlfriend (and a half š) or any girlfriend in the past.
24. She likes to keep him at stick length but she likes to KEEP him there. As in, he should hold the other end and follow her. He resists at first but holds to other end during the storm like children hold hands not to get lost āŗļø.
25. She likes it when he protects her either with his arms or with his blazer or both.
26. She doesn't mind the occasional hair/cheek caress with those big hands, but she would never admit it.
27. She throws a fit and pouts when Saras asks her to do something she doesn't want to. Mein nahi poochungi (mitti on cheek)!
End of the day, she's a little prickly, but still loves him. Had he not written the letter, she would be very different with him. Remember how she was smiling to herself before the letter? Of course it is easy to label her a mean-girl but she's far from that. She's a woman scorned.
And I say, it is a woman's absolute right to be willful. Girl-power!
