Television seems to be a fertile ground for romance. With actors putting in long hours on the sets, it is hardly surprising to see Cupid strike. Now that the marriage season is on, we wonder if these lovebirds too will take the plunge soon.
Mohit Sehgal and Sanaya Irani
Sparks flew between the two when they were acting in the serial Miley Jab Hum Tum. "Initially. we were only co-stars, then we became friends," says Mohit who made the first move to take it to the next level.
The best thing about their relationship says Mohit is they understand each other completely. Dating since the past three years, they share a lot of common interests like shopping, travelling and watching films. As far as marriage is concerned, they haven't planned anything so far!
Kunwar Amarjeet Singh And Charlie
Reality show stars Charlie who did Roadies 7 and Kunwar who came into the limelight with Dance India Dance met through a common friend. The first thing Charlie told Kunwar was,"You are so short and on screen you look so tall." Kunwar burst out laughing and thus began their friendship.
That was two years ago and since then they have been seeing each other. The duo is currently together in another reality show Nach Baliye and both feel they are too young to get married. "We want to focus on our careers and become something in life first," says Kunwar.
Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta
Currently seen in the dance reality show Nach Baliye, the pair met as co-stars in the serial Karol Bagh 12/24. They instantly became good friends and realised they love each other. Says Sargun, "We have been dating for two-and-a-half years.
It was his compassion and consideration for others that attracted me. Now after doing the dance show we understand each other's anger levels too!" In fact, it was on the show that Ravi proposed to his lady love! The couple is most likely to get married this year.
Roopal tyagi and Aklaque KhanRoopal Tyagi aka Gunjan of
Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke and Aklaque Khan seen in
Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha were good friends and would hang out together. Soon, they fell in love and it was Roopal who made the first move, truly living up to her onscreen fiery character.
"He used to treat me like one of the boys and check out other girls," smiles Roopal. All that's a thing of the past though for the duo that has been dating for over a year.While he feels she is cute and vibrant, Roopal finds Aklaque mature and someone who brings stability in her life.
"Being in the same profession makes things easier as we understand the nitty gritty of an actor's life," says Roopal. However, they have no plans of tying the knot anytime soon.
Pooja Gor and Raj Singh Arora
Cupid struck when the two actors met on the sets of Koi Aane Ko Hai. Pooja who is popular as Pratigya and Raj best remembered for his role in Remix recently appeared together in The Serial recently. The pair has been dating for a couple of years. While they have reportedly confessed to a relationship, marriage is not on their minds at least for five years.
