Daler, Ganesh to judge Fame X

The show has gotten a hip makeover with emphasis on the X factor of the contestants. Palash Sen plays the dean, Sophie Choudry is the anchor and singer Soumya Raoh is the vocal coach at Fame Academy. The show will air daily from November 24. MTV has been roped in as a judge as the brand reflects the cool quotient. The winner of Fame X will be the Artist of the Month in March 2007. Fourteen singers have been pencilled in from all over the country for the Academy, Endemol, who is also behind Bigg Boss on Sony, is producing Fame X. The winner of Fame X bags a Sony-BMG contract and will sing the Indian cricket team's anthem for the World Cup 2007. According to Vikas Bahl and Priya Mishra of SAB, "Fame X is looking for a contestant who has that edge distinct from the others. Ultimately, the viewers will vote and decide who has that X factor among the contestants." | |
