Today was an emotionally power-packed episode and so far the most elaborate one when it comes to the thoughts, dilemma, worries, nature of each character.
There were many things in today's episode which cleared many doubts.
Why does Bharti hates Rahul?
Bharti is a dutiful daughter in law who manages her work as well as her house. we often see her laying the table at dinner time, telling her kids that she l only cook the food, preparing for her lectures for the next day college and taking care of her house too. She is well read, well educated then why does she behaves badly with Rahul?
Today some of her statements really touched me and they were actually true-- something we all must have experienced or our friends must have experienced.
The FB scene of school photo where the photographer tells Madhav to change seat and asks Rahul to come right in the focus because madhav doesnt have good looks would make any mother feel bad for her child.
I m not justifying Bharti but simply trying to understand her. like the school pic many more incidents must have happened leading to Bharti's hatered or dislike for Rahul
The crux of her attitude lies in last few lines spoken by her:
"Mera beta sirf surat me hi peche rhe gya hai
par baki her cheez me vo sabse agge hai sabse behtar hai
Kyu mere bete ko log uski shakal surat se hi pehchante hai?" ðŸ˜
These lines clearly show that she doesnt hate Rahul on purpose but she wants people to look beyond looks too...!!
Many of such incidents have occured with us too. most common example being "the guy u have a crush on likes a different girl or may be ur best friend. why? because she has a body to die for" and u are left thinking "really does ONLY a good body matters? what about a person's nature?"
This show is an attempt to bring about some changes in our thought process
