This is why I am so for the Sultan track. The kid is the special cutie that makes this so adorable. Every child has a need that a dad (Sultan) or caretaker cannot fill. It has to be a motherly character and for Sultan's son, that is Madhu.
I loved the scene where the kid demanded her and even hard Sultan had to bend to those wishes. Then all of them were listening with rapt attention as Madhu sweet-talked the boy like Sultan and the caretaker never could. That home needs her. I also can't help but notice how Sultan is actually quite respectful of her. He gives her the gun if she ever feels threatened by her. She is not really pushed around by him just because she's at his mercy just like she was when she was forced into the marriage.
RK might have sacrificed her now because he has *shock* cancer or some chronic illness but what he put her through really made me think badly of him. I know he's the hero, etc etc and he will win the girl at the end and end happy ever after like 99% of the soaps. But Sultan and his family are really sympathetic characters. Madhu likes to be needed and cherished rather than used and disposed of - whatever the reasons.
I am taking off the women claim as that is being taken more seriously than it was meant. I meant to say that people respond of kindness and respect and usually go where they are most needed in real life.
