In a first, Priyanka Chopra will be seen dancing to a special number in Sanjay Gupta's Shootout At Wadala, titled Babli Badmaash. And, in keeping with the theme of the film, the retro-style track is an ode to the energetic 80s. Sunidhi Chauhan has lent her voice to the song, which has been composed by Anu Malik, written by Kumaar and choreographed by Ahmed Khan.
Says Ekta Kapoor, "Priyanka's first association with Balaji had to be special. We went through numerous tracks before finalising on what we all felt was a winner. Priyanka has taken it to a new level and will become synonymous with Babli." However, the most interesting and attractive feature of the song is the costume, designed by Manish Malhotra. It's a tribute to Amitabh Bachchan's famous bulb outfit from Yaarana (1981), with a modern twist. It's made of leather and rubber (reminiscence of Zeenat Aman's slinky gowns) and has LED lights fitted to it, which accentuate Priyanka's sexy curves. The actress, who's ecstatic about it, says she can't wait for the audience's reaction. "I had a blast shooting for it. I love the track and I'm excited to work with Ekta, Sanjay, Ahmed, Anu sir and the rest of the team," she says. Says Sanjay, "Priyanka has rocked Babli Badmaash. Her enthusiasm is unlike that of any other actress I've worked with."
Shootout At Wadala, produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and White Feather Films, releases May 1.

For one such look, the actress has been inspired by yesteryear Bolly siren Zeenat Aman. Talking about the song, Gupta shares, "Feroze Khan and RD Burman have both been two of my all time favourites, but the two never worked together.
So, I have tried to mix the flavour of the two in this song and Anu Malik has been able to recreate that magic of the era superbly well." Choreographed by Ahmed Khan, the song has been sung by Sunidhi Chauhan.
The looks have been designed by Manish Malhotra who's given PC a retro look, but has also adapted it to giveher a distinct style. So, while Zeenat was known to wear long slit gowns mostly sequined, PC will be seen wearing a leather gown. "Manish has retained the 80s feel, yet lent it a contemporary flavour," says an in
