Thsi is the medical field, Its with delaing with people's lives...an uneducated , untrained person cant be in this field. lets see how they show ganga's transition. I am not watching the show just following WU on the forum as someone had commented on this thread that people who have left because of prats leaving are still coming back on the forum...

I am following WU and giving my inputs on the forum on basis on WU because I like the character anandi and this story of balika vadhu ...i have now decided to think that i am reading a novel just for the sake of anandi. I am not watching the show on tv at all..😊 as i cant connect to the change..

lets see if in future they having an interesting character (like gauri comeback) i may watch..

May be in a rural setting these two fields are more visible.Other one being teaching.

Other fields do not enjoy that much of visibility in rural setting like engineering business manage ment etc because there is not much scope for these kind fields in rural India.

Shyam has done Agricultural sciences which I guess is not valued much by the people of rural area because most of them are into agriculture even without having any education.

exactly...i thought the show was also about developing villages, villagers and their thinking, jaitser being a district should introduce such new career options, bring in industries where engineers management graduates can work...change the district..

in gujrat especially the village sin bhuj kutch border the skilled weavers now get help form government and their work is promoted and exported...i want jaitser to do something like this...too many daactar saa..now time for engineer saa and manager saa😉

well as sum1 has already mentioned, an ANM or auxiliary nurse midwife is a post very common in rural areas, created mainly to help the PHCs function and to help the rural women stand in their own rights as individuals..if tht is what the CVs want to show for Ganga, it still makes sense..though she has to be atleast 8th std pass for tht (as far as i remember, its 8th and not 10th) coz women in rural areas are generally not educated more thn tht, it is not expected of thm to have sum high grade degree..and its not just cleaning, wiping...the course includes midwifery (helping in deliveries) and dispensing drugs..its not an easy job and requires training for atleast a year after fulfilling the prior qualifications..

It will be better if they show Ganga became ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) not nurse straightaway (she should study further if she wants to be a nurse). Even for ASHA, she has to be 8th standard pass (for ANM, she must be Sr. secondary pass and should have a diploma in Auxiliary Nursing OR Midwifery etc.) . To complete her education, she can take national open shool exam.. I really wish CVs do some research and show somewhat realistic story, it should not be like fairy tale..

well said..i guess i was mixing up the qualifications of ASHA and ANM, regarding being 8th std pass..lol..
anyways, showing sumthn like this wud be a very progressive step..lets hope the CVs go in this direction instead of a cliched doctor-nurse story which is frankly a very imaginative and illogical step..

You guys are taking one thing so seriously😆after all this a telly soap not something reality Fiction is a fiction try so much it will remain as a fiction Here you see collector sahab hanging from cars showing stunts Sarpanch and doctor jumping from windows and roofs landing safely where a normal person's legs will be broken .Collector introduced by CM as he is some sort of Governer Jagaya fooling law with two names somewhere Jagat somewhere Jagdish on secondary certficate written Jagish Singh on medical card written Jagat Singh and now he said my name will be Dr Jagdish Singh so it became what will be on medical card and degree ?
Anandi super woman what she cannot do she is perfect in everything a wonder woman expert in all fields she learnt so many things on her own never saw her properly getting her training in so many things Anandi how she got her education Bhairo brought books for her her education started never actually shown to viewers in a clear way when she completed her graduation .A lot many things have been left on viewers assumption They have shown it now you assume this must be happening who has enough time to show one one step 😆
For Ganga they have shown her as nurse in the becoming rest how much and how they will show they will show rest left on viewers assumption 😆

I think Ganga can become a home nurse after doing a short course. Some patients keep home nurse in hospital too.

well personally, i do mind nonsense being shown coz i am from the medical field myself..and from a show like BV which claims to be progressive, i expect the tracks to make more sense than playing wid people's emotions..its not a question of taking a track very seriously, and yes, i do know the creative liberties being taken wid the characters in the show are a given..call it whatever u want, but the wierd depiction of the medical and paramedical fields in the shows and movies is what warps people's minds in our country and worsens the health and attitudes towards the medical field and i DO mind tht..it takes a lot to be a doctor or a nurse and the way the creatives are showing it, it seems to be like playing house..
