I saw Manichitrathazhu after I saw several of its remakes. It's such a great movie, no remake can match up to it. I think it might be the best film I have seen.

Shobna and Mohanlal were great in it. Shobna's dancing was also very good.

I think this is a favorite film for many people. What do you think?

manichitrathazhu is a great movie and way better than its remakes. it's not the best movie i've seen but it's up there.

shobana's character was etched out really well and her performance was absolutely brilliant!!

It was one of best film i ever watched.. shobhana was rocked...what a performance...brilliant..she got national award...

Manichtrathazhu is one such movie which i could watch infinite times without getting weary or bored.

Shobhana was excellent. .powerful acting n beautiful dancing. Mohanlal too did an osum job.

If not best, it certainly is one of the best movies I have seen, and is one film I can watch again and again without feeling remotely bored!

I haven't seen this movie, but I heard so many good reviews about it. I should probably check it out soon. Heard Shobana totally rocked <3

Sorry this is very late... but I loved Manichitrathazhu - one of the best movies ever!

The most simple yet the scariest I felt out of all the versions... 😊

Excellent performances by all of the actors and lovely songs... 👏

Excellent movie, but not the best malayalam movie I have seen.

Kaliyattam is my all time best. Vishal was inspired to take Omkara after this as Kaliyattam is also inspired from Othello...and dare I say it was much better than Omkara.
