I got rather lucky in college, because a couple of my seniors were people I had known earlier. Also, I used to be a good artist, so the extent of ragging was that the seniors used to get me to paint T-shirts with some heavy metal designs for them. I was painfully shy when it came to women, and some of the senior women had taken it upon themselves to come up and say raunchy things to me to watch me squirm. That changed soon, and I gave back as good as I got.

Have you ever ragged a junior? If yes, then how?

I think ragging is a horrid scourge because people don't know where to draw the line. Except, like in my case, when you have three younger nephews that look up to you, then you have every right to rag, bully and beat them up, to get them to do things that make your life easy.

Have you ever used a pick-up line on a woman?

I think nothing works better than an eye contact and a genuine smile. I think guys generally come across as cheesy if they use pick-up lines because they end up trying to be too creative.

Have you ever had any embarrassing moment while on a date?

It can be incredibly embarrassing when you head for a first date, and bump into your ex- girlfriend there. I've had the misfortune of ending up in a place, with two of my ex-girlfriends there, one of whom had downed a drink too many and decided she wanted to spend time chatting with us and talking about how she knew me better than anyone else. You can imagine, it did not really go too well.

In your last release, Luv Shuv Tey Chiken Khurana, as a teenager you were punished and reprimanded by your grandfather because you kissed a girl in class. Have you had any similar experience during school or college?

I have but unfortunately it was not mine, but the girl's grandfather, and I can assure you it's not anywhere as close fun, as the scene in the film.

Your character in that film doesn't fret one bit stealing money from his house. During your teenage, have you done anything similar? What wrongs have you committed?

Not money, but I have stolen everything from alcohol to an aborted attempt to steal a friend's dad's car for a night out. We also had a bachelor in our building, and we used to climb into his first floor apartment to 'borrow' from his rather large collection of racy magazines.

Do you prepare before doing a kissing scene?

Yup, I work very hard at getting it right. I get myself an inflatable doll, dress it up like my co-star and then practice for weeks before shooting the scene.

Tell us one Bollywood actress with whom you would do anything to be paired opposite?

I really wanted to work with Madhuri Dixit. I worked so hard at making it happen that I manipulated everything to make her comeback into the movies' Aaja Nachle was actually my master plan.

And a Hollywood actress you'd like to get cozy on screen with?

Megan Fox and my all time favourite, Michelle Pfeifer.

How far would you go to get a woman?

How far you go for a woman is directly proportionate to how strongly you feel about her, multiplied by the courage you have, divided by how tough her brothers are.

Have you ever been violent in a relationship?

I take half an hour to decide whether I want to kill a fly. Being violent in a relationship is not part of my DNA.

One mistake you would never repeat in a relationship'

I think you should take your time to tell a woman you love her because for the first couple of months in a relationship, everyone has their perfect face on. It's the 'I'm exactly the person you were looking for' face. You should wait a couple of months for that perfect mask to fall, before you decide whether you love the person or not.

Have you ever had a platonic relationship?

I've had a lot of them. Some of my closest friends while growing up were women.

What kind of boyfriend are you in real life ' someone who is possessive or the kind who likes to give space?

I absolutely love my space and I would not give it up for anyone. And if you want space, you also have to learn to give it. Often people mistake possessiveness for love. They are two completely different things.

Have you ever acted unreasonable or been over-possessive in a relationship?

I've acted so many times. The reason is functioning of the brain and relationships are about emotions and when there are emotions involved you can't always react reasonably.

If your girlfriend cheats on you for your best friend and apologises and wants to get back with you, will you forgive and accept her?

Sure, I am an understanding chap. I would take her back, as soon as I'm done giving finishing touches to my plan of how to kill my best friend in the most possible painful way.

Out of the seven sins' which sin do you often commit?

Gluttony is my biggest sin. Luckily my metabolism is quicker than Usain Bolt or I would be absolutely obese.

What turns you on in a woman?

I have not found the switches yet.

Has a guy ever hit on you?

All the time' I'm a male magnet.

Would you like be a gay icon?

Why not? That would be flattering. Being an icon means people find you attractive and look upto you.

What's your favourite sex position?

It's not the position that matters, it's what happens between two people in those positions that matter.

Would you like to share one of your bedroom fantasies with your fans?

Someone who has read Fifty Shades Of Grey a couple of times over and is willing to put words into action.

What's your favourite aphrodisiac?

Romance!

Sex is an emotion in motion' Don't forget the emotion bit, because then it's nothing but motion.

What advantage does a woman have over a man while having sex?

They can fake it.

What's your favourite on-screen intimate scene?

Everything in Basic Instinct.

Who is the hottest on screen jodi in Bollywood?

I think Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham in Dostana.

Do you envy any actor's body?

I think both Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan have fantastic physiques.

One part of your body you would like to replace?

My foot. It's worn out from ending up in my mouth so often.

Are you obsessed with any part of your body? Why?

My appendix. I'm obsessed with who put it there and why!

Suppose you and your best friend like the same girl. Will you step back for your friend?

Sure, I would step back, would not want to shoot him point blank. He is my friend after all.

What's the cheekiest compliment you've received from a woman?

I don't know if it fits into the straightforward compliment category but it sure as hell was cheeky. A one woman came upto me and said, call home and tell your family won't be coming back tonight.

Lately, many Bollywood films have kissing and intimate scenes. Do you think they are doing a good job or give one suggestion you'd like to give directors while shooting such intimate scenes?

I think a couple of things are essential to shoot an intimate scene well... Chemistry between the actors, a sense of humour so that the atmosphere on the sets is light and fun, dental floss, so that you don't have to turn to special effects to clean out the green stuff stuck between the teeth and most importantly really hot body doubles.

What is that one word that is always on your tongue?

Tartle, because it not only sounds great but it perfectly describes the situation I often find myself in. It's a Scottish word for, hesitating to introduce somebody because you've forgotten their name. And I've got the memory of a pea, when it comes to remembering names.

Has any woman used a pick-up line on you?

Yup lots of times, right from a simple 'Hi, I think you're cute' to the cheesy 'if I told you, you had a great body would you hold it against me.'

Were you ever caught while watching po*n?

Well, yes and my advice to readers is that don't forget to use the 'clear history' option on your computer. It will save you from potentially embarrassing situations.

What is your idea of a perfect date?

When we never notice the time.

Men want sex more than women do.
