My take on this whole issue is that Pratyusha was caught unawares this time round. She wanted to quit earlier when she auditioned for Bhatt camp. But after that she had slipped back into her role as Anandi.
Basically she thought she was indispensable to the show being the main protagonist and having won every award worth mentioning she began to believe that she is God's gift to Balika Vadhu. This comes due to immaturity and having seen stardom at a very young age.
Probably she was creating problems for the production house.I don't believe they are difficult people because after all Surekha Sikri, Anoop, Smitha etc have been on the show for 4.5 years. They are experienced and seasoned actors . What is Pratyusha compared to them?
If Prats had something lined up one could understand her reason. For leaving but right now it's been her starry ways for sure.
She is never again going to reach this dizzy heights no matter which show she does.anyways her loss is Toral's gain. Let's give the girl a chance she has pressure on her shoulders to perform and so as audience let's not make it difficult for her. Let us give her a fair chance.
Feel bad for Sid, but he seems to be a balanced person , if he can act with body double and emote expressively I am sure Toral and Sid will create magic.
The director is very good , I hope the creatives don't sideline Shiv and Anandi just to highlight Jagya and Ganga story.with a good tight script I am sure Balika Vadhu will go from strength to strength .
