Where did the story go?

There were days when I would wait for it to be time to see BV and it was not so distant past. I just loved BV till Anandi got married and kudos to BV to take the step and finally cross a very important milestone.

But I think they did not put their brains together for the next step.

Expectation1- Anandi to continue as a sarpanch and now being a collector wife, maybe move into politics and give a real challenge to corrupt MLA. Even Ganga's track could have been effectively used as a realization that sometime political clout and power is required to get things done.

Reality1 – She is bored and has nothing more to do than cook and visit Badi Haveli. No school and no sarpanch. She can either be beendni or sarpanch bitiya but both, not possible.

Expectation2- Anandi being sarpanch should have been primary person to safeguard Ganga's well being like in Asha's case, showcasing how sarpanch and collector work together.

Reality2 – She is being used as third track for Jagya and/or to highlight Gauri's issue

Expectation 3- Anandi's character should have been the first to ask about Gauri from Jagya

Reality3 – They actually need an outsider to say it?

Expectation 4 – Jagya – Gauri track and proper closure be it punishment or redemption

Reality 4 – After 7 evil Jagya avatar's, using sickness to his advantage and getting rejected he suddenly realizes his wrongdoings, mops around for couple of days and his redemption is over. Gauri's character barely shown and no idea is she is moving towards punishment / redemption and we even have a third lead with strong indications of being Jagya's wife. He even got his hospital back.

Conclusion VO –

After marriage, girls should leave their careers as they don't need their own identity anymore after taking on their husband's identity.

Be born as a man because it may take years for a women to move on, but it only takes few tears, dialogues and a sad face to get back wealth, respect, family and off course a new love interest.

So far BV story revolves around Badi haveli and the life of Jagya and Anandi. If they continue the story around Jagya and Anandi's life, perhaps they have to resort to leaps like other serials. Another options is to include other stories also to convey the social messages.

I agree about Anandi's professional life. There was no mention of her not wanting to go back to work or someone else taking her place in Panchayat. I am just hoping that she is on some kind of temporary leave after her wedding.

As far as Anandi questioning Jagya about Gauri, I don't have a problem, I am really happy that she was the not the one to show Jagya what he did with Gauri and she carried on with her life and not getting involved with Jagya's personal life.

I hope your VO will not be the case and in future (after confession track) they will restart Anandi's career and show how AnSh together balance their professional and personal lives. I hope this will be the future of AnSh track and not make them have a 'lalla' by Diwali.
