Here is a piece of good news for all those who loved watching Star Plus' popular daily soap, Pratigya. The show makers are planning to come up with the second season of the immensely loved serial.
Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya ran for close to three years and gained good TRP ratings for most part. The show's characters especially, Pratigya, Krishna and Sajjan Singh received a lot of appreciation from the audience; they were a treat to watch. However, the serial's story soon came to a saturation point and it was pulled off air in October last year.
Apparently, as per the latest news, looking at the popularity of Pratigya, Spellbound Productions and Walkwater Production is now working on its second season. Confirming the news about the plans, producer, Pearl Grey shared, "Yes, we are planning to bring back Pratigya with a season 2 but nothing is confirmed yet. The talks are in process."
If sources are to be believed, Pooja Gor who played the protagonist in Pratigya has been approached for its second season as well. However, the actress hasn't given any confirmation on whether she has accepted the offer or not. "Yes I have been approached but it's too early to say anything right now", revealed Pooja recently. It is also being heard that Arhaan Behll, who played Krishna's character, may not be seen in the show. However, it is yet not clear whether Arhaan has refused to be a part of the show or it is the decision of the production house to refrain from casting him in the second season. It was earlier heard that Arhaan had certain issues with the show makers and as per the grapevine this may be a possible reason why he hasn't been approached for the second season.
Besides this, nothing much has been revealed about the show's other star cast. However, it is certain that the production house would bring out the best in the cast picked by them.
