The show completes a year today (20 February 2013).

Akshay Dogra aka Aakash said, "I would like to congratulate the entire team today as it takes huge effort to maintain a show for a year. I have been in entertainment business and have seen serials going off air in three to four months time but Punar is doing extremely well."

Heena Parmar aka Ishita went on to add, "I am very happy for the team today as most of them have been a part of this show from the first day. I also wish that I was associated with it from inception but nevertheless, I will be very happy when we complete two years."

The lead pair Kratika Sengar aka Aarti and Gurmeet Choudhary aka Yash remained unavailable for comment in spite of our repetitive attempts.
