Khushi was in the bedroom when Arnav walked in seriously. ''Arnav ji, what's wrong? You look mad'' ''Khushi, Shyam's back'' ''Oh''. Arnav put the baby in the cot and turned back to Khushi ''I've got all rights to kick that two faced dog out of the house. I am fuming right now! The only reason I didn't do anything was because Anisa was in my hands.'' Khushi walked up to him and cupped his face saying ''Breathe Arnav ji...He can't do anything to us now. You know the truth. At least for Di, let him live his married life with her.'' ''Khushi, that doesn't change what he's done to you. That guy hasn't changed and never will, trust me'' ''Arnav ji, just drop it. For your daughter... We've got a new life to live now. Let him live his... No more drama.'' Arnav shut his eyes as he calmed down. ''But...'' ''No Arnav ji... I know we can't trust him to not pull something and cause more problems... But he's got nothing over us anymore, what more can he do?'' After alot of talking, Arnav agreed to let Shyam be, for Khushi and Anisa.
Arnav wanted to lighten the mood and took his chance to give Khushi his next gift. Arnav went to the cupboard then came back standing infront of Khushi with his hands behind his back, smiling wide. He then held out his hand infront of Khushi. ''Arnav ji'' ''Open it'' Khushi could see the excitement in Arnav's eyes. ''Arnav why...'' ''Just open it Khushi''. Khushi narrowed her eyes at him and pouted as she unwrapped the box. She opened the box and was left speechless ''A-A-...Ar-A-Arnav...ji?'' Khushi looked at Arnav with questioning eyes. ''Arnav ji! This is tooo much!'' Khushi shot her eyes at him, hinting a bit of anger ''...At the start you gave me flowers, okay. Chocolates, okay. Then you got me a God knows how many lakh bag...I-I can deal with that... I think... Then the spa, th-that was nice, you know with the pampering and-and relaxing. Okay... But now...'' ''Khushi...'' ''They're earings-in diamonds!'' Arnav laughed ''Khushi, calm down...It's just a gift'' ''Neh Arnav ji, it's too much! I can't accept these... I know that you're sorry, okay. But you don't need to do all this...you've done enough'' ''I want to'' ''But you don't have to.'' Khushi looked up, deep into his eyes ''I love your gestures, but this is where it stops, okay. All of these gifts are lovely but you don't need to do this. I know you're sorry...really really sorry...But no more gifts okay?'' Arnav shut his eyes in dissappointment ''Fine...But you're keeping those'' ''But...'' ''No...you can wear them when we go out tommorrow for dinner. I've made reservations'' ''Arnav ji, i said no more'' ''I know. But can't I just take my beautiful wife out for once?'' Khushi smiled at him, shaking her head before her expression fell ''Wait, but what about Anisa?'' ''I'm not so keen on leaving her behind either, but i read in the book that it's not good to keep attached to the baby 24/7, just a little bit of space will be good for both of us and the baby. That's why we're only going to be out for an hour at the most and don't worry, Di will be looking after her'' Khushi looked over to the baby in the cot. ''I don't think i'm ready to leave her'' ''Neither do I...but it's something that will be good for all of us i guess'' Arnav went over to the cot looking over the baby; the baby giggled at Arnav and Arnav said ''Don't think i forgot about you'' Arnav went back in the cupboard and got out a big bunny rabbit teddy that had a pink love heart on it that said 'My Daddy Loves Me'. Khushi looked at him shaking her head and pouting. ''What Khushi?'' ''Look around you'' Arnav looked around ''What? I don't get it'' ''Look. There's almost no space left in this room with all the toys you've been getting her. You will spoil her rotten and she's barely 3 weeks old.'' ''She's my baby angel, there's no limit for what i can get her'' ''Just watch, by the age of just 3 she'll be your bratty princess, not your little angel. Then you'll be sorry. Just because you can buy her all this stuff won't manipulate her to love you any more, you know?'' ''Aww Khushi, you can get her what you want too, you know? There's no need to be jealous... Remember that credit card i gave you last week? Yeh, well the way it works is, you can buy as many things as you wish with it and i'll pay the bills for it'' Arnav winked at Khushi, taking her by surprise. ''Is that so? Does it look like i want your money?'' ''No, not at all...but there may come a time where you may need...OR want to buy something, and you can. Simple.'' Arnav turned back to the baby and Khushi shook her head again. The baby suddenly hiccuped and Arnav's eyes widened in worry and he immediately picked the baby up into his arms. ''Khushi, Anisa coughed!''
''Arnav ji, it's okay. It's just a hiccup'' ''No Khushi i'm telling you, my baby just coughed'' Before Khushi knew it, Arnav was on the phone summoning the doctor ''...Now!'' Arnav hung up and turned to the baby, picking her up in his arms. ''It's okay angel, you're going to be okay'' Khushi smiled at Arnav ''Arnav ji, you're over reacting, trust me... It was a hiccup, nothing serious'' ''Khushi...my baby coughed'' Khushi shook her head in admiration thinking to herself ''Bless this man...It's beautiful to see how much he cares for his daughter, though he will drive me crazy''
20 minutes later the doctor arrived hurrying in ''Where's the baby???'' Arnav immediately directed him towards the living room where Khushi was with the baby and everybody else too. Everbody was confused and worried except Shyam who was amused. The doctor checked the baby and finally turned to Arnav who was extremely impatient ''Doctor, is she going to be okay???!'' The doctor smiled and replied ''Mr Raizada, there's nothing to worry about. Anisa is as healthy as ever'' Arnav was nothing but relieved from fear and worry. Shyam twisted his face in disgust at the family image of Arnav, Khushi and a baby. Khushi turned to Arnav with an 'i told you so' face. ''Didn't i tell you it was nothing to worry about? It was just a hiccup'' ''I don't know Khushi...Just the thought of her being poorly scares me. I just didn't want to risk it, you know?'' Everbody looked at Arnav with surprise and adoration as they were still not used to his sudden birth of a softer side in life. Shyam didn't understand; he thought Arnav was meant to be mad at Khushi about her supposed relationship with him; but instead Arnav looked nothing but happy with his own little family. He thought to himself ''Arnav must have found out everything, surely...Now the main problem is that baby!''
''Sailesaab, i'm so happy to see you've got your own little family now. You've changed quite alot since i left'' Shyam smirked his evil smile to Arnav and Arnav stiffened in anger raising an eyebrow at Shyam. Khushi nervously observed all this and quickly turned to Arnav ''Arnav ji, here, take Anisa back up and give her milk. I've got a couple of things to do in the kitchen, i'll be up in a while.'' Arnav clenched his teeth at Shyam before he lovingly took Anisa back into his arms softening his face into a smile and took her back to their room. Once back in the bedroom Arnav was feeding Anisa unable to stop thinking about Shyam. Khushi walked in and could see the distress in his face ''Arnav ji, kya hua? Ap teek to hai na?'' ''..uh-Khushi...I don't know why-but i'm getting this bad feeling...'' Khushi looked at Arnav confused ''Arnav ji, what do you mean?'' ''I-uh-don't know...it's just Shyam. I feel like he's upto something and maybe i'm just being paranoid but i feel like he'll do something against Anisa'' ''Arnav ji, we're both here. He can't do anything'' ''I know and you're right. But i don't feel so comfortable leaving Anisa behind to go to the restaurant anymore. Especially considering she'll be with Di, who'll be with Shyam'' ''Yes Arnav ji you're right, i don't think we should go.'' ''Maybe next time?'' Arnav looked at her apologetically smiling. ''Arnav ji, don't worry about it'' ''I promise i will be taking you out soon.'' ''I'll hold you to it''
The next day came soon and the sun was glistening in the blue, refreshing sky. The sun's golden glimmers of light was shining through the windows onto Khushi lying in bed. Khushi woke up and stretched her arm out to Arnav's side of the bed smiling, only to find him gone.
