Now RGV becomes a singer!

Ram Gopal Varma has added one more skill to his existing set of talents. The director has turned singer with the Telugu version of his film The Attacks of 26/11 where he croons the track Nethutti Ruchi Mariginda.

Ramu's first ever song will be used as a promotional video. Apparently, music director of the film, Amar Mohile, asked the filmmaker to record a scratch version of the number. And while a couple of other singers also tried their luck at the vocals, Mohile felt they could not match Ramu's intensity.

Ramu confirmed the development and said: "Initially, I was reluctant but it happened in just one take. I would not call it a song. The track is more like a background score. But then Amar felt a range of emotions came through in my voice and wanted to keep it that way."

A source said: "Ramu sang from his heart and that was the reason why Amar was convinced it had to be in his voice."
