See, i just had another test with my memory with your episodic review and yes, it did not fail me👏👏👏.. i'm not too much of a fanatic after all, it's true that when you describe the scene, it comes alive in the mind with mere words..

That spinning round was something where i wholly forgot GK but thought of Yash and Aarti as real people instead. It was a flitting natural and spontaneous husband-wife moment. They shut my senses into concentration to them.

This little acts of reaching out tickles me cute. Another confirmation that Yash and Aarti has this psyche of "shy on the outside but unbridled within" kind of love.

Fantastic as usual, Borna. i think i must have read this 12 times already😳

P.S

My sister says thank you very much for the the past write ups. She enjoys reading them thoroughly every Saturdays. And i finally got the answer as to why my brother watches PV: he says it's not embarrassing for a guy to watch the romantic scenes on the show and no unnecessary inserts of lovey-dovey moments😃

Long overdue response. But better late than not at all, right? 😛 And, no fair, Borna! You really are too good in your reviews, capturing the performance nuances and character detail with such precision!

- Yash deliberately avoids Aarti's eyes as he massages her, so she knows he is unhappy about the stunt she pulled today...Even in her pain, she is more concerned about his anger/disappointment in her...Beautiful, beautiful throwback to the Yash-Aarti ointment/balm scene after Aarti walked on the coals at the dargah and rescued Yash from suffocating in the car on that terribly stormy night...

- When she asks him if he is angry at her, he still doesn't say anything. He holds everything in, probably not wanting to rant at her, given her condition, but when she tacks on that "Please?" that always seems to be the key to getting Yash to respond, he lets his concerns out without another moment's hesitation. Love the look on Aarti's face here as she listens to him, knowing that his anger is justified...

On the bold in the 1st paragraph, I definitely agree. The consistency in their relationship is remarkable, a testament to the Mittals and their writers. What I especially like about these mirror scenes, as I like to call them, is that they appear deliberately comparative in nature, allowing us to recall a similar scene/situation in the past and now see how much their relationship has deepened. In this little moment, we see how much they've come to know each other.

On the bold in the 2nd paragraph, I so loved the tone in which he responded. There's a mix of understanding and quiet exasperation -- on one hand, he knows this impulsive and fierce protectiveness are core parts of who she is, even if he doesn't fully understand the deep-seated fear driving her in the moment, and, at the same time, he sees at the wider picture.

And I just realized you said the same thing in your next paragraph! We're on the same wavelength in interpreting Yash in this moment. IA too on her choice to explain her reasons for going to Radha's house instead of apologizing.

- LOL at Aarti's instant, "She said that, too!" and Yash's "Oh, Goddd. She's still thinking and stressing out about that?"

Got to admit, I chuckled a little by his reaction to that. He was like, let it go already, Aartiji! 😆

- Back in their bedroom, Aarti looks around at her surroundings, stopping to gaze and smile at the photograph of her and her Yashji. After being pushed away and alienated because they supported each other when hardly anyone else would, they are back where they belong, as a part of the joint family that they both hold so dear. - I am SO happy to see this room again! It amazes me how much I missed seeing Yash-Aarti in their own bedroom and/or bathroom. So much familiarity...It has been more than a year since the teaser promos were released...more than a year since we first got to see this bedroom and the adjoining bathroom! For me, ever since those promos aired, those rooms became something that I associated with Yash and Aarti. Their bedroom is their haven.

- "Aartiji, aaj main bahut khush hoon!" - Yash takes Aarti completely by surprise and sweeps her off her feet and into his arms, spinning around and around, while she gasps and holds onto him for dear life...This took me by surprise, too! If Kratika's voice, sounds, and expressions are anything to go by, I think Gurmeet might have gotten a bit too excited and carried away (pun intended!) while spinning!

A very sweet moment, though! And such pretty visuals, even if they were more like a blur of color...Aarti's hair flying out behind her and then falling over her face due to the force of the motion, while Yash is absolutely elated and makes that more than evident with his spontaneity and enthusiastic tone of voice as he talks.

I love that they're back in their bedroom too. Definitely their refuge. Well, for the most part; Neelam's fake death thingamajig happened there and I still have no clue why, lol, and the Ex invaded there one time too many. 🤔 But, I'll forgive those. 😆 It's just so nice to see Aarti take in the reality of their return to the family fold.

But then Yash happens! 😆 The spontaneity of the scene from here on end was wonderful. I'm actually glad Gurmeet seemed to have gotten a little carried away in the spinning the way he did because it drew such genuine response from Kratika. IA with you; from the free flying of her hair and even the way her head seemed to move from the intensity of the moments, I think her head might have seriously spun! Just aided to the naturalness of the moment that moves fluidly from this point to the quick mention of the chole to this point:

- Yash catches Aarti's hand as she is about to leave, causing her to turn back and fix him with a "Let go, Yashji...Now's not the time" look that lasts for a second as he counters her gaze with a "Nope, I'm not letting you go so quickly..." expression. Love the way Aarti lets out a little laugh and tells Yash to let go, which then prompts him to shake his head and pull her closer so that he can drape his arms over her shoulders, encircling her.

I absolutely adored Yash here, wrapping his arms around her shoulders. How comfortable and open with her he's become! He could be his happy, boyish, mischievous self without fear. This was the Yash everyone spoke about during the Mumbai fiasco, the Yash they wanted to see again and they had commissioned Aarti to prematurely resurrect by sheer will. And here he is, in all his glory!

Your mention of the Arpita flashback made me remember how adorable she was with Yash in her own way. I like your point on Aarti's ability to play into the moment and cajole him into letting her meet the other demands on her. I hadn't thought of it until you mentioned it. It's really interesting how the women's own maturity and personality quirks inform the way they interact with him.

- I think it is so adorable how Aarti tweaks Yash's nose and teases him about his "intentions" before explaining in a playful manner why she should be allowed to leave him now. First, that little action of hers was so unexpectedly cute; second, this is a lovely little reminder of all those days when she ironically thought that her fiancee was a man with...ahem...dishonest intentions...a rather nice way to hint back at those days and see how far they've come in this relationship now; third, Gurmeet's and Kratika's expressions are too cute!

I didn't expect the nose tweak, so that was an adorable surprise. On your second point, they really have come a long way. I remember the moment she overheard what he said to Prateek and realized had she misunderstood his intent, and it made it a touch easier to be around him, to begin becoming co-parents and friends. But then falling in love just made it all so natural. As you were saying some paragraphs up, they've become so emotionally and physically at ease with each other, no hesitance to touch or be touched by each other. And that truly only comes with progressive trust. If Mansi could see them now. 😆 On your third point, yes! They cracked me up there. And I love the way they ended, when he takes her face in his hands. We truly are fortunate to have Gurmeet and Kratika in these roles. Seriously, these two make seemingly ordinary scenes really beautiful. ❤️
