Chp 55 : The Countdown

Flashbacks ( the last one )
Aarti open her eyes that morning and say " O god the same dream again " she then get up open the window of her room take a deep breath , then went to the bathroom, and change her clothes to go to her work , when she went down that morning she go to the kitchen when her sister was preparing breakfast
Aarti " Goodmorning Sis "
Vdho smile and say " Goodmorning dear , the breakfast is ready just go and set on the table "
Aarti " Let me help you with the plates "
Aarti start to help Vidhi then after the table was done ,Vidhi look at her and say " Aarti , are you ok ? today you look lost on your thoughts "
Aarti look at her sister and say " Something weird is happening with me for months now "
Vidhi " What is it ? "
Aarti " Since months now , many times i see the same dream again and again "
Vidhi " The same dream ? tell me about it "
Aarti " Everytime im on a dance wall , a huge one wearing a white dress then a man come hold me and we start dancing , so the thing is i cannot see his face , we dance and dance but i don't look at his face , then on the end of the dance when we stop and im about the look at him , you know to see his face , i wake up "
Vidhi get nervous and say " Maybe its just a fantasy "
Aarti " I don't think so, its weird but on the dream im so happy to dance with him , i feel like i know him , i think my unconscious mind is trying to tell me something , maybe i should go to a psychiatrist to solve this "
Vidhi " No need Aarti is just a dream "
Aarti " No its not , i have it many times i need the know who is that man on it i think i ...."
Vidhi sceam " Enough Aarti its not a big deal "
Aarti look at her shocked and say " Ok but why are you sceaming ?"
Vidhi " Its just you take dance classes on the past maybe you dream about it "
Aarti " I took dance classes , realy ? on witch kind of dance ?"
Vidhi " Tango "
Aarti " Wow, i use to dance tango "
Vidhi " Yes " and before Aarti could ask more , Pankaj and the kids enter saying " Goodmorning "
Aarti look at them and say " Goodmorning "
The kids then rush to Aarti and start talking with her , Aarti prepare there breakfast and keep chatting and laughing with them, while Vidhi was nervous from all Aarti's talk and she think " What is the man on Aarti's deam is Yash "
After breakfast Aarti head to her work on the way there she keep thinking " Something is not right , did losing memory creat this feeling ? but who is that faceless man on my dreams ? "
Meanwhile Yash was having afternoon tea with G3 , when she say " Dear it has beed almost a year and half since Aarti is gone , i think its time for you to move on and i think you ..." G3 stop talking since she feel nervous
Yash who was having to tea calmly he look at her and say " I know you are trying to arrange my marriage again but sorry G3 ma i don't want another woman on my life , Aarti was the only one i have ever loved, she was my soul mate , no one can take her place "
G3 " Im not saying foget her or get the new girl her place just a small place on your life is enough "
Yash " Every part of me is for Aarti only , there is no more place for enyone else "
G3 " But son, you dan't to have a family , and kids ? "
Yash " If Aarti is not my mother's kids , i don't want them, i don't want to have kids that will not be upbringing by her , Aarti is the only one who i can see as mother of my kids "
G3 " But dear i just wannna see you happy "
Yash " G3 ma , im happy , i was lucky to find Aarti who teach me how to live and how to be happy , her memories are enough for me "
G3 " But dear ... "
Yash put his hand on hers and say with a smile " Its ok G3 maa, im and im perfectly fine "
G3 smile and tears were about to fall from her eyes so Yash say joking " Look at the bride side , if Prateek and Pari have kids on the future i will leave all my fortune for them "
G3 laugh , then Prateek enter and say " Then i should have Kids as soon as possible "
G3 smile and look at her son who say " Yash , im here to inform you that we will travel to US next month for some deals , her is the files "
Yash take the files and start to read it , and G3 say " Its tea time no work is allowed , Prateek set and have some tea, Pari is preparing cookies and she will bring in it soon "
Prateek set down , then Pari come holding some plates and Suraj holding some too
and he say " Can i join you ? "
G3 " Sure "
Prateek say joking " Mr Suraj where you making cookies too , i see that you holding plates ? "
everyone laugh and Pari say " We meet at the hall and he offer to halp me "
they set and start having tea and chatting Suraj look at his son and say " Put the files down its tea time "
Yash look at his father and say " Ok dad " he put it down and start chatting with everyone
Meanwhile on the evening Aarti was on supermarket with Vidhi and Pankaj buying some stuff
Aarti " We are buying a lot of things "
Vidhi " Of course we are , on a few days mom and dad will come and Pankaj will throw a Party for his colleg at work so its a busy week for me "
Aarti " Its ok sis i will help you with cooking "
Vidhi smile and say " I know you will "
Pankaj " I would like Aarti to cook for the party she is just amezing at cooking "
Vidhi " Im not going to argue with that "
Aarti " Yeh , im damn good at it "
Then they laugh Aarti say " The list is still so long "
Vidhi " We can take our time , the likds are having sleep over tonight so lets keep shopping "
Aarti " O i need to go back to the other section , we forget to take something when we were there "
Vidhi " What ? "
Aarti say while going " The flour " when Aarti went Vidhi look at Pankaj and say " She will need your help it will be heavy for her "
Pankaj " O yes i have to go too "
Aarti was look at the floors there then say " That my favorite "
Then she hear someone saying " Do you need help with those Aarti ?"
Aarti turn to find a stange man talking and he add " O god Aarti you look great , but what are you doing on US ? "
Aarti look at him confuse and say " Do i know you ? "
The man laugh and say " Come on Aarti, its me Prashant we almost had an engagement once , but why are you here alone where is ..." before he could say more Pankaj come and say " Hi Prashant we need to talk " then take him with him Aari look at the stange behavor of Pankaj and think " What did just happen now ? and what did he mean by almost had an engagement once "
Pankaj take Prashant away and explain to him that Aarti is divoce it from Yash ,ans she also doesn't remember him since she have amnesia
Prashant " O sorry i did know about that "
Pankaj " Its ok "
Aarti was looking for them when she find then she say " Ok explain to me what just happed "
Prashant smile go to Aarti and say " Hi im Prashsant "
Aarti " You talk about an engagement , what do you mean ? "
Prashant smile and say " almost a year and half ago our parents arrange our marriage but before the engagement , the wedding was off and the arrangement was broken since you fall sick ,so thats what i mean "
Aarti "ok "
Prashant " can we be friends now ?"
Aarti " Sure "
Then they keep chatting , Prashant get her his cell number and take hers , he even know her work place , and after a while they say " Bye " to each other
Vidhi and Pankaj were standing next to them all worry , Vidhi the most she was shocken when she saw Prashant talking with Aarti , when he went Aarti look at them and say " today i find out that i use to dance tango and i almost get married What d you hide from me more ? i mean why didn't you tell me ? "
Vidhi " Sorry Aarti but we just don't think its important "
Aarti look at her and say " Its ok , but please tell me there is enything that i need to know ? "
Vidhi look at her sister and say " No " then Pankaj say " Lets go we still have to buy a lot of things "
Time pass Prashant start to call Aarti and visit her many time at work and offer her lunch , Aarti look at him as friend , she introduce him to her new friends and they were talking at the phone sometimes and having lunch with Aarti and her friends , but he doesn't want Aarti's friendship he want more one day , one day her car was having some problems and Prashant offer her a ride to her home but we they reach there she was shocked when tell her " Aarti what if we complete what we stop "
Aarti " What are you talking about ? "
Prashant " Our marriage , can i ask my parents to give another proposal to your family ? "
Aarti look at him and say " You are a good friend Prashant but .."
Prashant " But what ? you don't love me , its ok , im not asking you too, i need a wife an di think you are perfect for me, also you have no problem at the first time and your family was realy happy about it "
Aarti think for a while then say " Ok it my parents has no problem with it , its ok with me too, i think i need to get married im 27 years old i big enough "
Prashant laugh and say " great i will talk with my parents "
Aarti " Goodnight Prashant "
Prashant " Goodnight Aarti "
When Aarti went home and tel her family they were so happy , days later Prashant's parents talk with hers and arrange a second engagement on Prashant's uncle hotel , all this happen on a month
On the morning of her engagment Aarti was having an talking with with her parents
Sobha " Dear why are you going to work today ? the engagement party os on the afternoon "
Aarti " I realy need to go, its i have a very impotant presentation,just get me the adress and i will follow to the place after im done "
Mr Dubey " Cann't you delay it ? "
Aarti " No, also its your fault no one of you take my opinion about the date or the place of the engagement ok i have to go bye "
then she out of the house on hurry , her parents just keep looking at her going an her mother say " Don't be late "
At the same time Yash was alos on US for his meeting , Prateek and Pari were with him, he get Prateek to day off the spend to morning with Pari , but ask him to join him later then Yash head to the hotel for meetings, he spend the rest of that morning on the conference room , signing deals
Aarti was on her work giving presentation to some clients, she was a success and she signe some deals with them, after her meeting she look at the clock and think " O god its time , thank god i bring my saree with me , im gonna change my clothes at the bathroom "
after that she went to her car and head to the hotel
Meanwhile Yash was done with his meetings and head to the elevator and he get a call from Prateek , he enter there and was talking with him , on the same time Aarti reach to hotel
And you all know what happened next 😉
