So much dhamaka on the forum today!! So since the other thread is closed temporarily 😭, I will wait for it to re-open or be closed off before commenting I suppose.
But I'll just say a few things here...In my short time on this forum, I will whole-heatedly accept that I have been outspoken (some say sarcastic...maybe) about the characters, content of HD, and the logic that is used to blindly justify characters. Thru my remarks, I try to see if I can bring out the inconsistencies that are present in many of the arguments that are made. I will not apologize for trying to be fair and consistent in my logic and expecting others to do the same.
But I will also whole-heartedly declare, that there has not been a single instance on this forum, when I have degraded an actor personally for their looks/personality/popularity/lack of popularity (if someone thinks to the contrary, please show me the post and I'll be more than willing to apologize).
Regarding the whole thing about "freedom of speech," yes absolutely people have the right to express what they feel. But let me give you an example (since I am a foodie, it'll be a foodie analogy 😆).
I absolutely detest Spinach. Never liked it, never will. Paneer on the other hand, I can never get enough of! So lets suppose there was a restaurant that served only spinach/paneer (palak paneer).
Now what do you think I should do? On the one hand, I detest spinach and can't stand the taste, but on the other hand, I love love love paneer.
Should I go the restaurant every time, sit down at the table, order the dish, and just separate the panneer out and enjoy it and leave everyone else alone to enjoy the palak paneer. Seems like a fair and mature way to solve the problem.
Or should I go to the restaurant everytime and go around to everyone who is enjoying the palak paneer and say:: hey I hate spinach, I hate how it looks, I hate how it tastes, I wish the restaurant combined the paneer with aloo instead. Yes my freedom of speech allows me to go around and say this a million times over, every time I go to that restaurant. But is this what I should do?
Or maybe the restaurant comes up with a new dish...Matar paneer...should I go to the restaurant and just enjoy the matar paneer...or should I go and make it a point to everyone and say...hey this matar is so much better than the "green stuff" people like to eat...and make indirect statements to put spinach down?
And last but not the least, if someone asks me about how I like the food at the restaurant, do you think I can give a fair assessment if the only thing I like and eat is the paneer and not the whole dish that is served by the restaurant? Wouldn't it be fair to just say...hey I like the paneer they serve...don't know about the spinach. Or should I say, the paneer is great...but the spinach...its so bland, undercooked, and green!
I know this is a super dumb analogy but hopefully it clears up the confusion. Here' the truth though..I love palak paneer 😆I don't have a problem with people who don't like palak or paneer, they are free to come to the restaurant and enjoy the part that they like, but please don't come to the restaurant and make it a point to go around everytime! and tell everyone that you hate the palak or the paneer. I already know that you don't like it (from the first time I met you at the restaurant), so why repeat it everytime? Why ruin the fun for me?
That is all I am asking. If someone finds anything offensive in this post, please let me know and I will edit it asap!
Edit:
Well, all I will say is that the direction this thread has taken basically proves my point. Nowhere in my post, nor in any of my replies, did I put down palak or paneer or even aloo or matar. I said I respected people's right to like matar paneer and aloo paneer and I didn't say anything to the contrary to put down matar or aloo.

Yes people have the right to go to this restaurant everyday where people are enjoying palak paneer, sit in the center of the restaurant, and say things like: I hate palak, palak tastes gross, palak tates even worse with paneer, palak is the most bland food ever and on days they serve matar paneer, people also have the right to go to the restaurant and say things like "Is restaurant mein pehli baar kuch dhang ka khane to mila hai." Yes people have the absolute right to say all these things. But the question here is not if we can do it, the question is should we do it.

Regarding my previous thread, I apologize to anyone who was offended by my comments and will be more mindful of what I write next time.

My bad I couldn't understanding ur post
If u r implying onto enjoy Indira and rishi both then I m sry it's not gonna happen.I feel they are just not made for each other rishi is not the kind of guy Indira needs she needs a person who not only emotionally but economically too.he is just restricted to lock himself and sob over events.
Like even rishi deserves someone with better looks and class to match his status, even if he likes someone like Indira he should be strong enough to resolve her problems.
I don't understand a bit about him when Zara was around he was like Indira was just his responsibility as soon as she vanished he wants love from Indira.dint he said that Indira was not his wife anymore officially? 😕
And I don't think palak was the only option to taste paneer.paneer can be cooked with different combinations.

Well my analogy was meant to apply more to actors but I suppose you can apply it to characters as well. On that front, I absolutely support your right to not want Rishi with Indira or vice versa...but all I would say is that the logic and argument and reasons one applies to not want this pair should also then apply to all the other pairs (don't know if I'm making any sense)
And you are again absolutely right...Paneer can be paired with many other things (I mentioned aloo and matar in the post) but the fake restaurant I made up😆...they only serve palak paneer (well someimes they add matar paneer to the menu for a short time period)

I love paneer but I am allergic to palak. What should I do if waiter ignoring my wish of having paneer with mushroom brings paalak paneer? supposing there's only one restaurant! 🤣

If palak paneer are characters, and you say you like matar paneer and your argument is that you like matar because its green, then I have every right to question your logic because palak is green also😆 But again, here is the problem...this restaurant only serves palak paneer and most patrons who go there are palak paneer lovers (I know this is unfair but that's how it is). So while I support your right to hate palak paneer and love matar paneer, I don't think it is right to go to the restaurant everyday and tell the patrons that palak paneer is not good and matar paneer is the best😆
i also like paneer kadhai, paneer with other combinations bt nt palak...bt they hate matar paneer n paneer with all other combinations n advise me n everyone 2 nt hv it...paneer palak is d best...matar paneer n other types of paneer dishes r d worst... at a certain point they start criticising paneer as well bcos i luv it...😆dis infuriates me at a certain point n den d debate between matar n palak begins...😆 I agree with you here...if I am asking you to respect my love for palak paneer, then I should respect your love for other combinations (I should have clarified in my post who is palak and who is paneer😆). But like I said below, this fake resturant I made up only serves palak paneer and the patrons here are palak paneer lovers. So I feel that it is not right to go into the restaurant every day and ask for matar paneer. Yes you have every right to ask your local authorities to open a new restaurant that serves matar paneer or aloo paneer and I absolutely respect that.
hope dis analogy added another dimension 2 ur topic of discussion...it wud b sane enough 2 let ppl njoy wat they like n nt criticise d other...d restaurant owner will also b happy n d customers as well...😃

Haha...I love it! Meri hi analogy se mere ko jawab dena...I love it! (and I mean this in a good way😊)
I understand what you are saying. And believe me, my thread is not directed at either paneer or palak lovers...its directed at everyone. Well the fake restaurant that I made up only serves palak paneer...they only offer matar paneer maybe for 1 month of the year...the rest of the time, it is palak paneer.
