Ah, Borna, I so enjoy how much you revel in Yash and Aarti's scenes from this episode Such a fun read! Posting this over because formatting is being a major brat at the moment.
- The camera catches everything so naturally, almost like we're seeing Aarti from Yash's perspective slightly...Love the part where Yash reaches for Aarti's hand as his eyes start to get heavy with sleep...He wraps his fingers around her hand for a moment and then lets go, which gives her more liberty to massage his head...Yash has Aarti's support and once again, we see him finding solace because of her presence, her words, her touch. Think of that day when he was a tortured soul blaming himself for being a "bad" son, brother, and father (and husband)...Gayatri was there for Yash then...Aarti is here for Yash now...
Gah! This is absolute my favorite part of the scene. He was finally at peace and falling asleep, and she was content. I love the way they love each other. ā¤ļø
- "Abhi matlab abhi. Now!" - I freaking love the director and cameraman! The capturing of all these tiny nuances - especially now that Ishita is around and somehow has to feel envious of Yash-Aarti's closeness (she has no idea...no idea how much these two have been through to GET to this point!) - is so well done! Aarti holding Yash's hands in a desperate display of how much she is craving chocolate...LOL! Aww!
The Chocolate Scene. An appearance of Yash and Aarti's playfulness and goofiness always makes me smile. So true on the bold sentence! Ishita is seeing the sweet aftermath, but if she only knew how difficult the journey was before they reached this landmark; it was fraught with miscommunication and missteps. Given her experience, previous rejections and apparent gratitude for Akash saving her, she does seem to harbor some illusions about the way love develops. What she hopefully learns in due course is that real love needs time, patience, and a lot of nurturing.
Oh goodness, you can't imagine how much I laughed during this part of the scene. š Kratika's delivery is downright adorable. For me, it's interesting that this scene is written with a sort of father/child undercurrent between them because it's a reversal of the mother/child undercurrent we saw in their bedroom sleep scene earlier. Typically, I wouldn't consider a pregnant woman having a tantrum to be very cute, lol, but she was cute. And it seems Yash knew she was craving chocolate, so he lured her into this moment. They've both had their momentary departures into childlike regression and the ways they handle each other always amuses me, lol.
- Okay, can I just say that both Gurmeet and Kratika look super attractive with messy hair like this? There's that one second when Aarti pulls out of the hug, smiling...and then later, when Aarti turns away from Yash (Kratika turns toward the camera with a smile) and her hair is all messy...She looks so pretty! To make things even more adorable, there's a slight bounce in Aarti's step when she pulls out of the hug before telling Yash that she was joking around with him; his "Yeah, yeah, I know..." nod is hilarious, too! That chocolate made her so happy that she all but ran off in the direction of the house as Yash was leaving! She bounded off and then slowed down after a little while, haha! Too cute, these two!
*nods head on the first bold sentence/question.* And can I add that I still love Gurmeet's hair cut this way? So Yash. On the second bold sentence, yes! It was a spot-on "Yeah, right! Whatever!" reaction from Yash. 𤣠They crack me up.
- "Jaldi aa jaayiyega, haan?" - Just...AWWW! Absolutely ADORE the nuances captured in the multiple profile shots of Gurmeet and Kratika as Yash caresses Aarti's cheek and strokes her hair with his hand! And then she brings her hand up to wrap it around his wrist, smiling at him happily...*sigh* So much love in the way he is looking at her!
She told him to come home early, am I right? At least that's what the translation on my end said. On your last sentence in bold, admittedly that right there got me swooning a little (and I'm not a "swooner" by any stretch of the imagination). Sparks were flying all over the place. ā¤ļø
