Mohit is the son of Reena and Sandeep Marwah. Reena is Boney Kapoor's sister.
A source says, "Throughout the party Mohit was seen tagging along with Karan. He has done a short film Strangers In the Night with Karan's production house and directed by Shakun Batra. Both KJo and Shakun were completely blown away by his performance."
Those close to the aspiring actor say that Mohit studied theatre in New York. The source adds, "He's inherited the good looks of the Kapoors."
A friend of the newbie states, "Mohit has been receiving a lot of film offers but he wants to take things easy."
