What I want to know is whether the way she's shown is deliberate or just out of stupidity. There are two options when you see a character like Sanchi come out of the same family that produced Shiv: 1) There is a reason no one in the family says anything to Sanchi - either their philosophy or something, and she's the result of it. In this case, it will be something to be explored in the future; or 2) Lazy writing where they just needed an antagonist, so they create this caricature of a character without thinking about how it fits into the larger framework.
Basically either the CV's have thought about how it is possible that the same family and parents produce both Shiv and Sanchi, or they haven't. I honestly don't know which of these is the actual case.
