All his exhaustion of facing a hard day at office vanished this night as he met a smiling and cheerful aarav after whole fifteen days.His temperature was normal since last three days as well as blisters were on their way to healing.Smile that was making a slight appearance on his lips,grew wider and prominent as he stepped in his bedroom.
Geet was all lost in changing aaravi's clothes.He was little amazed by the "ease" and "expertise",geet had done it.In last fifteen days,Geet did not let aaravi away from her eyes even for a single minute except when she was in the bathroom.If it was possible somehow,she could taken aaravi there too..
He suddenly remembered his silly arguments with his sister about "Who loves Aaarav and Aarvi more??"..He used to win these arguments with the help of "Relation" he shared with both the kids.He was their "MaMa"..Since there were two "Ma"{mother} in "MaMa",his love was also "double" in amount for his nephew and niece,as compare to his sister.But at that moment,standing near his bedroom door,his conscience and heart made him realize that Geet had surpassed him too..
Whereas,He took lot of time to even make himself call geet's parents,mumma and daddy,his wife had accepted his family like she had been belonging to his family since her birth..This strange quality of "acceptance" in women had always made him respect them more..
It was aaravi who noticed her uncle's presence near the door at first as she squeaked in her babyish voice looking towards the door.Geet turned around to find object of aaravi's attention.
"Hello my lovely girls"..Maan spoke waving his hand as soon geet turned her head towards him. Genuinity in the smile that she gave him,warmed his heart instantly,as his feet covered the distance between door and bed.
"So how was the day???"He asked her kissing aaravi's fore head.
"It was good.."She chirped as she found herself in her husband's embrace next moment..
"and I missed you alot.."Maan heard her saying further.Honesty in her words could be guessed from the eagerness with which her hands went around his neck to reciprocate the hug.
"I missed you too hemamalini.."He exclaimed with a smile.
Sudden coughing by aaravi made them break the hug.
"Why is she coughing maan???"Geet asked with extreme worry.
"I don't know geet but why are you worrying so much??I think,we should make her drink some water.."Maan suggested grabbing a glass of water from the side table.
"No..maan..aaravi can't drink this water.."Geet stopped him immediately as she asked him to bring the "feeding bottle" kept on the table.Bottle was filled with water.
Little girl's cough was eased as soon water touched her throat.
"Your idea was really useful maan.."Geet praised him.
"Thank you geet..But why did you make her drink water with feeding bottle..She could drink with glass too.."
"Its not about glass maan..Feeding bottle has "boiled then cooled water".."She explained.
"Why did you boil the water geet???Is the water purifier in kitchen not working???"He inquired.
"No.no..Its working perfectly..I just wanted to be "sure" about everything aaravi takes..."Geet told him taking aaravi in her lap.
Maan gave a smile at her reason.He was very happy to see her "over protectiveness" and he could understand it very well,however he had to stop her..
"I understand your concern geet..You want to save aaravi from diseases and infections but your "over protectiveness" would make her more prone to infections in future.."
"I am not getting you maan..."Geet exclaimed perplexed.
"This "more than needed" care of yours would make her weak..Her immune system would learn to fight with germs only when it would encounter some germs.Maintenance of Hygienic Conditions is good but her body needed to fight with some mild threats at this age..It would make her stronger in future..You know,According to a "research" who is most susceptible to Hepatitis A infection???"
"Who???"She asked in a curious voice.
"One who has never enjoyed "Golgappas" form a street vendor.."Maan answered pinching her nose playfully.."Hope you understood what i wanted to say..."
"Yes patidev..I understood everything..Aarvi would be our "darling" only not a "delicate darling"..."Geet exclaimed tickling little girl's stomach thus making her giggle uncontrollably."You know what laddu..With "you" in my life,i am not going to face any problem in raising your kids..."
Her hazels did not miss the sudden seriousness that appeared in his eyes as soon those words left her lips..
"Aarav and Aaravi are also my Kids geet.."He spoke after a minute.
"No,they are not your kids.."
Disappointment could be clearly seen on his face after hearing those words but soon it was replaced with ethereal joy and satisfaction as geet further spoke,"Aarav and aaravi are our kids maan...!!!"
Her open acceptance stirred his heart as he leaned forward and kissed her fore head."I would not have mind few more kisses on cheeks too laddu but right now i am in hurry to take a leak..So please make our daughter sleep till i come back from wash room..."Geet exclaimed with a chuckle getting down from the bed.

After easing the pressure built by her kidneys,geet decided to spend few more minutes in the most necessary activity of her daily life,"Brushing her teeth"..It took twenty minutes for geet to come out from the bathroom. Aaravi was fast asleep in her crib till then where as her husband was busy making out with his darling laptop as usual. Geet gritted her teeth as she came to the bed.
"I am going to throw you laptop in Indus ocean someday..."She spoke adjusting the cushion behind her back.
Her sudden voice startled maan very badly as he immediately closed the window he was working on.
"I was about to shut down it geet.."He said little panic.
Suspicion arose in geet's brain as her husband did not react with his characteristic "hmmm" to her comment about his laptop tonight. "What are you hiding from me laddu???" Geet asked with furrowed eyebrows..
"NNN,,Nothing geet..Why would i hide something from you..I was just preparing a presentation..."Maan answered with a nervous smile as he got up from his bed with laptop in his hands.
"SHOW IT TO ME PATIDEV RIGHT NOW..." Geet exclaimed pointing towards the laptop in his hands..
Maan knew ,he could not escape from his wife now as he gave his laptop to geet with his head hung down in defeating manner.
Geet had expected some "not so decent" image on the screen but what she found amused as well surprised her beyond limits..There was her picture on the screen with soother in her mouth..
"Hey when did you click it???"geet asked controlling her laugh.."and why did not you show this to me laddu???"
He was little surprised with her reaction to the pic but then she was his hemamalini..She would never react the way he would have expected her to react..
"I thought you would get mad at me thats why.."Maan answered taking his seat beside her.
"Common why would i get mad at you..According to "Rule book of playing pranks",A good prankster should enjoy pranks played on himself or herself too.."She exclaimed clicking at the other minimized window on the screen.It had aaravi's picture with soother.
Seriousness in her voice made him ask in a surprised voice,"There is such a rule book,geet???"
"Sometimes you behave so cutely..just like your name laddu.!!!."She said pulling his cheek..
"I am not cute .."He replied little offended..
"You are cute but less than her laddu.."Geet said pointing towards aaravis' picture on the screen.
"Hmm..I was trying to merge your and aaravi's picture with the help of photoshop.."
"Oh eem gee Laddu..Why were you troubling yourself so much..You simply could have clicked our picture together..."Geet said smacking his head in a playful manner.."When aaravi would be up,you can click as much pictures as you want..."
"Really..."Maan said in a voice full of excitement..."Thank you so so so much hemamalini..."
"Its completely my pleasure laddu..I can do anything for you..Aapke liye toh mein apni jaan bhi de sakti hoon..!!!"She said last line little dramatically taking both of his hands in hers..
"What a cliche!!! geet...!!!"Maan commented on her last line with mock laughter...
"You weren't supposed to say this laddu..You should have kept your fingers on my lips before saying..."Phir kabhi marne ki baat mat karna geet.."
"Stop behaving like that"Radha" geet..."
"But its fun maan..Common lets do it..You would play heroine's role and i would be your hero.."
"I am supposed to be hero,geet..."
"There won't be much fun and challenge then..please please laddu do it as I said.."
Excitement in his wife's eyes did not let maan refuse her however he knew very well he was inviting another trouble for him...
"Fine.."He consented.
"Ok the scene is like this..I would say..tumhare liye mein apni jaan bhi de sakta hoon..."
"and then i would put my hand on your lips saying,"phir kabhi jaan dene ki baat mat karna".."Maan intervened.
"Right laddu..then we would lock our eyes for a while..and then i would remove your hand form my lips very slowly.."
"Then???"
"Then I would kiss your palm..."
Now that portion gained maan's interest...
"Then???"he asked this time with curiosity.
"Then you would turn around shyly giving me your back,, I would come slowly towards you and would nuzzle your neck from behind..!!"
Wow..It sounds fun.."Maan thought as both of them got ready to show their acting skills.
Everything went well till the "nuzzling" part. Maan had not enjoyed properly this little proximity between his wife and him,when she backed out a little disappointed.
"Laddu..you are not doing it properly..When i would nuzzle your neck,your breathing should get abnormal.."Geet told him his fault..
"Ok..I would do it properly this time..Lets start again geet.."Maan suggested.
The act started once again..Instead of enjoying his wife's touch,Maan had to make his mind forcefully focus on getting his breaths abnormal..Geet was shocked when maan stated taking long and deep breaths as soon her nose touched side of his neck..
"Maan you are reacting like "hero's mother" who is suffering from "Asthma" and whose oxygen mask has been removed by the villain....She said biting her cheek to control her laugh.
"Common geet,you asked me to breath abnormally and I am doing that.."Maan retorted.
"Oh maan..Don't take long and deep breaths..Make you breaths shallow and shorter...Thats how heroine does in such intimate scenes..."Geet exclaimed.
"Fine..Lets do it again.."Maan said little irritated this time.His excitement was dying slowly..
As soon as he found her touch on his neck,Maan started taking short breaths as told by his wife to him.He was clearly confused when he heard his wife laughing loudly this time...
"Whats wrong with you geet???"He asked.
"Maan this time you were doing like..."Geet could not complete as she broke into fits of laughter once again..
"LIKE???"Maan asked gritting his teeth.
"Like Baba Ramdev does "Kapal Bhati Pranayam.."She told wiping her tears because of laughing so hard.
"I am not doing all this nonsense any more..,let me sleep geet."Maan exclaimed with anger as he moved towards the bed only to be stopped by geet as she held his wrist..
"Ok ok maan..I promise I won't laugh this time..Please do it one more time.."She requested batting her eye lashes..
Maan's heart could not deny her puppy faced demand as he spoke,"Fine but its last time ok.."
"Thank you.."Geet was beaming with happiness.."It would be better if you wear my dupatta too..It would help you to act properly.."She said further putting her dupatta on his head. Before he could deny,She began with her dialouge..."Tumhare liye toh mein apni jaan bhi de sakta hoon..."
They both were so engrossed in their act that they did not see the open door of their bedroom. Both maan and geet had forgot to lock it..Moreover they did not realize the presence of the "person" standing at the door.Maya had come to talk to Maan about some important matter,however her steps froze at the door only after watching maan wearing a pink colored dupatta on his head.
As maan turned around shying like a new bride,he saw "puja mala" falling down from Maya aunty's hand who was standing at the door.Her both hands were covering her mouth in astonishment..
"Aunty..."Maan managed to call her after some time however he did not get any reply.Maya picked her puja mala and literally ran out.Her doubt was near to confirm..Maan has lost his mental stability after marrying geet...!!!!
