I have seen a lot of posts related to "The Slap" and I felt as if I should write a quick post regarding my take o the episode; to level the field.

The episode started with Dilshad being taken to the hospital, Razia hiding the story, "The Slap", Ayaan's gang's meeting, Rashid's flight being earlier than planned and Asad coming to the Siddiqui House telling them that Dilshad is in the hospital between life and death.

I think this was a very good episode. All the characters were portrayed really well, the essence of each character especially Asad's was very well portrayed. Najma was shown as who she really is, a young 'lady; who is as innocent as can be. She relies on her brother and mother in every way. Maryum, a young women victim to a cruel society- she found hope however the world snatched that away as fast as she got it. Asad, a man of great responsibility, power, anger and hurt. He is the support system for his mom and sister when he himself needs support. Zoya was also portrayed very well. She was shown as someone who feels for others, how she saw Dilshad as her own mom, being surrounded by people, she is alone, lonelier than Asad for she has no one really. Razia, a real 🤬 She hid the entire fact that Dilshad was shot, Shireen feels insecure with the questions she mentioned to Rashid. Ayaan, Humera and Nuzhat the three portray again like Najma show the innocence that the young generation holds. Oblivious still to reality. And of course Rashid, he is shown as a man with little control over his life. His heart belongs to both Dilshad and Shireen, more to Dilshad, however his past forces him to become the Siddiqui's puppet.

One thing I wanted to say was that when I saw Zoya today, I didn't see the slap, I saw her expressions and they were amazing. I felt like crying 😭 ( I can't cry easily) because her emotions really got to me. Also, when Asad slammed his hand on the wall, he heard the gun shot- amazingly well edited! 👍🏼 One thing I found amusing was the fact that at the end, Asad told the Siddiquis that Dilshad was in the hospital between life and death and that she might want to see Rashid before... Did anyone else notice how Razia mentioned that it might be a rouse that Dilshad got his by a bullet? I mean, how does she know that if Asad didn't mention it? That should be a huge thing for the people in that house.

⭐️Today's episode's highlights:

- Najma and Asad
- Zoya's emotions
-Asad's emotional.mental struggle
- Asad going to the Siddiqui House
-Pre-Cap

I am looking forward to tomorrow's episode. Hopefully nothing will happen to Dilshad , Zoya will leave the house temporarily, maybe a hotel or something for a few days until Asad realizes what he has done. (If paying attention, you can see the expressions on Asad's face- he still has no idea what he has just done.) When he realizes what he has done, he may try to understand Zoya and they may actually become friends.

So these are my thoughts- just realized that this isn't as short as I intended- sorry!
