No kissing isnt but its a certain image that you have regarding an actress and say one is set against it in my view they shouldnt have too ..it should be a choice..
Yeah,, it';s true that actresses have a certain image to uphold.. but this one's being typecasted to the same boring sati savitri gaaon wali role and she probably needs this to break the pattern... unless she wants to bore people to death. Besides, no matter how they start originally, they all eventually morph into the same bollywood actress stereotype by the end of their career.
Also if you are being typecasted to a certain kind of roles, and you chuck off your options by stating that kissing onscreen compromises your personal beliefs, you might as well kiss goodbye to movie offers except that ones where Salman ropes you in. Cuz no matter how insignificant the kiss scene might be, you're the one who gets the boot cuz there's no dearth of actresses who are willing to oblige.
