Surbhi Jyoti As Zoya Farooqui Finds Trouble or Trouble Finds Her In Qubool Hai

Trouble is a symphony that Zoya Farooqui is familiar with. The off-key notes always play around her. Be it her wedding from which she ran, or another or another. She today has become the Runaway Bride. But has it been her fault totally or have circumstances surrounding her made her do things? Fight or flight is the instinct that every human being is blessed with. And Zoya does just that, goes with her instincts. As a character she is strong, upfront and in your face. But that is just one facet of hers. She is complex with complexities in her life that make her different. Add to the mix is her equation with Asad Ahmed Khan. She was almost run over by his car and yet he had come to ask her, "Are you okay?" And she had lamented, "Allah Miyah, What's wrong with you?"

That set the tone for this particular musical piece. The starting notes a discord, even out of sync, but is there a harmony that will make their hearts sing in tune? Once they hit the right keys, will they find a symphony all their own? Perhaps to the tune of "Mitwa, Ishq Pe Zorr Nahi?" (Okay so we are just kidding or are we?). Zoya Farooqui and Asad Ahmed Khan are quintessential pop-rock meets classical music and we will see if the fusion will create a chart bursting album with Qubool Hai.

Surbhi Jyoti, the girl from Jalandhar, as she always says with pride in her voice is a true Punjabi. Playing Zoya Farooqui in Qubool Hai is something we find she does with aplomb. Especially, in the situation of fight or flight. Her comic timing is amazing. Surbhi and Karan Singh Grover have fun on the sets while doing the non-jhok scenes. Both fun-loving people enjoy this banter to the fullest extent. It shows. To top it , Surbhi is that girl with lot of spunk and verve. Let us tell you some of the things she loves. First of all, she loves to sleep. Her exact words are, "Early to bed and late to rise." Such bliss. She loves to go on drives in fast cars with loud music as the companion. And she loves to eat. Of course, one has to maintain a healthy diet but well you are young only once. We asked her if Pizza and Diet Soda were her thing too like Zoya and her reply is, "Nah!"

Zoya and Surbhi are not like chalk and cheese though. There are notes which are in perfect tandem and that is why Surbhi says she can play Zoya with ease. We want to hear this music play and of course, this is not a single but an album which we hope will be not just a Pop Label but become a classic.
