SRK For Dhoom 3

Ok so a couple of days ago, an article was posted in the bollywood section....and before I explain nay further about the debate...let me first introduce the article:

SRK to play bad guy in Dhoom 3

Shahrukh makes 'bad' look 'cool'. I've been saying it ever since 'Don' promos hit the air. Now, 'Don' is about to unveil his no-holds-barred villainous act soon but there's more good news for SRK fans. According to a well placed source, King Khan will be essaying the bad-guy role in 'Dhoom 3'. Bollywood is really getting confident when it comes to sequels it seems. For even before the release of 'Dhoom 2' the plans are already underway for 'Dhoom 3'. Another interesting bit of news is regarding Rishi and Neetu Kapoor's hot looking son Ranbir Kapoor. He is currently wrapping up his debut venture in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Saawariya' but his performance level has impressed the Yashraj banner so much that they've signed a three film contract with the Kapoor scion. And one of these films will be 'Dhoom 3'. And no, Sanjay Gadhvi won't be directing it. It seems a lot of Dhoom is in store for all you guys out there….There's always Vvvvrrrooooommm…For more excitement. Right! Ok so after this article was posted many members started posting their views about how SRK was either the perfect or the not-so perfect choice for the movie...many members even said that Dhoom series of movies were mostly for younger generation and teens and the cast should belong to more of a younger group...lets now take a look back into the past 2 Dhoom movies Dhoom Original Star Cast: John Abraham, Abheisheik Bachan, Uday Chopra, Rimii Sen and Esha Deo Status of Movie: Super Hit All of the actors still hadn't made it big in the industry but after the moive..John became one of the most coolest and hottest villian, Abhisheik the next sexiest actor in bollywood and even Uday Chopra and the girls began their trip to fame with this movie. Now releasing on November 24 is Dhoom 2 Star Cast: Hrithik Roshan, Aishwaria Rai, Abhisheik Bachan, Bipasha Basu and Uday Chopra The cast mostly fresh pairings, first time Hrithik in villian role, looks very promising in the promos and seems like will do full justice to his role Now for the third series they are deciding to cast Sharukh Khan, Aishwaria Rai, Uday Chopra, Abhisheik Bachan, and Ranbir Kapoor So here are my questions: 1.) Do you think SRK will be the perfect choice for Dhoom 3 as a villian 2.) If not who is another perfect choice for that role 3.) Whats your thought about the star cast for the 3rd series 4.) Some one mentioned that "I cant imagine SRK riding motorcycles and doing stunts" whats your take on this quote 5.) John looked hot as a villian in Dhoom, Hrithik looks sexy as a villian, and how will SRK look as a villian for D3 Well those are just some questions to get the debate started...but you can add more if you want...this debate isnt for star bashing...so dont be too rude with your comments as we have ALOT of SRK fans on thos forum....this post is only for members do debate whether SRK will fit in the group along with John adn Hrithik as the Dhoom Villians and if he was the perfect choice for D3 or not So looking forward to seeing a helthy discussion and debate among members and hopefully we can all see different points of views in regard to this ~Rashi~

I think King Khan is exploring his "bad boy" side these days, and frankly i'm happy because i'm tired of seeing him in nothing but romance and "tragic" lover roles. I definetely believe that he will do justice to the role because he no longer has the "classic formula" for playing roles anymore, i think he'll pay more attention to details and work harder so that audiences can accept him.

Also i think the decision to create Dhoom 3 is a bit early according to me, they should atleast wait until Dhoom 2 releases! Personally i am extremely skeptical whether if D3 will be successful, because there are only so many possible bike stunts you can perform without repitition.

After Hrithik's stupendous actions and stunts with boyish charm and great histrionics capabilities and good looks in D2 (going by KRRISH), it would remain to be seen how SRK matches up to it as a sauve villian in D3.

Abhishek in Dhoom looked good, but in Dhoom 2 his look does not look good with his beard and sloppy postures.

Ranbir would be a new addition in D3.

At this momemnt I am more excited about Dhoom 2. Especially to see Hrithik+Aishwarya pairing!

If SRK's Bazigaar, Anjaam, Darr is anything to go by, then SRK would perhaps explore his obbsessive streak and give that shade to his villianous character.

All would depend on how DON has shaped up. Coz in the recent years his action films like Duplicate has not clicked.
When D3 release will form my opinion. It is too early to comment on Dhoom 3.

What should we debate about??????
By the time DHOOM 3 actually starts SRK will become old,better he plans films like Swades,Videsh,Pardesh and all!!! BTW SRK is not Pierce Brosnan of India !!!

Yes, I think srk will be a perfect villian, if the article is not a rumour.

Well, I wish in dhoom 2 john should had been in the villian role. I was dissappointed to read hrithik is in the movie as john was the best.

3.) Whats your thought about the star cast for the 3rd series

I haven't seen dhoom 2. So I can't say much how the chemistry but i think original dhoom cast was perfect as dhoom 2 cast is not so interesting. it's sad that there won't be esha deol

Aditya Chopra is a intelligent guy and who knows maybe srk won't be riding bikes, maybe cars and flying 😉 like he did some stunts in Don 😛

5.) John looked hot as a villian in Dhoom, Hrithik looks sexy as a villian, and how will SRK look as a villian for D3

i still think john was the best, as we don't know what kind of look will srk have and even we don't know srk has signed the movie or not. so let's wait and see what is the dhoom 3 cast.

I said this in the bollywood forum..I say this again here...would answer to those questions soon..btw,it was me who said that SRK cant ride a bike or do stunts convincingly.

Jokes apart,I seriously cant imagine SRK dancing with Ash the way Hrithik does,I cant think of SRK on a bike🤢,I cant imagine SRK challenging Abhishek,SRK is sooo old,ABhi/Ash/Uday are young..and it has the kiddo RAnbir Kapoor also,Imagine,Uncleji SRK with bachcha RAnbir😕 😕 😭....

ALl i would get to watch is a gallery of Mr.Khan's over the top overacting,face contorting into ghoulish proportions🤢,SRK's guffaw ad smirk,and his failing to look convincing as the conniving baddie.....🤢He so cant pull off the don look,where is he going to pull off the role synonymous with Hotties like John and Hrithik....nooooooooooooooooooooooo,DHoom 3 is ruined 🤢 😡 🤢 😭

CAn SRk walk the way Hrithik does in my avtaar,can he dance the way hrithik does,can he look as hot and stylish as Hrithik and John,can he look as young as hrithik...NOOOOOOOOOOOO...He needs to do roles that suit his age

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO🤢....Dhoom is a chic flick,and the heroes have all looked DAPPER😳.....SRK is in his forties,he looked horrible in KANK and DON promos...his face is sagging,he started to lack the sartorial savvy,and he is NO WAY CLOSE TO Hrithik or John..Hrithik and John have the height,they have the six pack,they look as though Adonis has come alive...SRK is so old,and never was he as good looking as John and Hrithik...More than anything else,Dhoom is all about style,good looks,sex appeal,adventure...SRK simply doesnt fit the bill...SRK needs to do roles that suit his age

Someone who is younger..As dhoom doesnt demand much acting,it just demands the HEF(hotness exuding factor)( acronym courtsey Sheena) to be above 9,Its all about style,youthfulness,its all about getting the audience's adrenaline to skyrocket....Being stylish,being trendy,looking a million bucks,making the opposite sex go weak at their knees are all the de rigueur for being in DHOOM

AHHHH,it all depends on the script(and having ranted so much😆,I do admit that if the script requires a middle aged man,who would be more like the kingpin,and would instruct the newbie how to burgle banks and would act as the person chalking out the algorithm,but the pillage executed by the newbie,then I might cut some slack..But Knowing how egoistic SRK is,and how pompous he is,I highly doubt whether he would agree to play the second fiddle)....

My choice would be..Arjun Ramphal/Kunal Khemu/Kunal Kapoor(My,this guy would make one HOT villain😳..He does have the looks),ABhishek,Uday(these two are like going to be there in every dhoom movie),Priyanka Chopra..Basically,Hotties...Not unclejis🤢

I said that😳😆...Yes,SRK on a bike would be an EYESORE....SRK's too short,he's not at all hip,He's not at all hot,he simply doesnt loook desirable..SRK's more of the cute kind,a cute uncleji....😃😳..Besides,he's too old,and age is showing up on him....No unclejis in chic flicks please,Unclejis coudl act in the stereotypical Yash Chopra Movies,with a love story set in the fields of Punjab,and the hero breaking into a song in Europe....NO SRK IN DHOOM

EYESORE.... The dhoom series would be bespattered with bouts of bad looks,bouts of hamming and bouts of crass ,all dished out to us in the name of SRK in a chic flick like dhoom😭

No offense SRk fans,but that guy needs t do roles that suit his age and persona...He must be kidding himself if he thinks that he could pull off a Kabir or an Aryan Singh(Hrithik's screenname in D2)

i disagree, i think that Uday Chopra is a good actor and i loved him in Dhoom and Mohobatein, i think its a bit unfair to say that he was only casted because of his father (it could be somewhat a part of the reason why he was cast, but also yash chopra productions only looks for quality actors and would never ruin his name just for introducing his son into the industry)

saying that uday is riding his dad for roles is like saying Hrithik was cast in Koi mil gaya and Krrish because of Rakesh Roshan.

ya i agree with you...actually no matter how bad of acotr Uday can be...i actually really enjoyed watching him as Ali in Dhoom....he was really funny and has a sort of adorable kind of character....i think he did quiet impress the audience...it hink with Dhoom...Abhi, John and Uday all had a chance to improve and their hardwork did pay off as every1 loved Dhoom..and I wouldnt mind watching Uday again in D2...because i know hez going to add comedy which will make the film more fun to watch

uday is only in movies b/c og his dad, talented or not, connections are needed in bollywood these dayz, look at abisekh if he wasn;t amitabhs son he would never have been in moives, and if he was director would have stooped using him due to his 15-20 staright flops, most other star kids would have left the business, but being THE star son (amitbh was and is a huge star) abiekh got more and more chances
