I think because Raj instructed Armaan to tear up the letter when he was done reading it, so Jassi is upset that Armaan is following Raj's directions.

In short, Jassi is forever looking down upon herself.....she believes that people like Mallika are better than her becasue they come from a higher social class and are beter looking and so can illtreat Jassi......

the way I see it, she is more fortunate than Mallika.....Jassi has the love, confidence and presence of both her parents, a doting granny, a wellwishing friend, an intelligent capable mind(the jury is still out on the last one😉)....in short everything that Mallika lacks....

more to the point if Jassi is so attuned to counting what she does not have, then she should also count the absence of feather brain friends like Pari and a two timming fiancee........ she will feel better......😉
