The Test of Love Theme is revisited again exactly a month later on January 12th 2013. Earlier it was Dipali who instigated RK to test Madhu's love if she loves RK or Rishabh as shown to us on Dec 12th 2012
Upon prodding by Dipali, RK boasts to Dipali that he tested Madhu the way she suggested and has found that Madhu loves Rishabh and not RK...That Madhu topped his test with distinction as she stands top in his list of relationships he holds valuable to him... And that he has success because he has now love in his life which was spurned by Dipali 5 years back and now she failed as she has nothing left.Just that to his dismay, Madhu has been overhearing all of this. We see a shell-shocked Madhu's face. To be continued...
And here I am summarizing what some of our friends had to speak on this.
About yesterday's episode.
Is RK wrong in testing Madhu's love?
Rishabh , who loved his father immensely lost his father which he never expected. He failed there.
His mom married again and he lost his mom( he thought so) He thought he failed again.
Deepali ditched him . He thought he faced another failure which is very big and these failures changed Rishabh to RK who is smart, shrewed and wants to win anything at any cost.
In the beginning episodes there was a dailog he says to bittuji.
Jab RK saath ho toh haarne ki baat hi nahi hoti hai.
he never got unconditional love in his life so far. But things
have changed whe Madhubala came to his life. he got the attention, love from her which he never thought he will get in his life.
he accepted it and happy about it. The failures till now he faced definitely raise doubts in him. The doubt which is hiding somewhere in his mind was triggered by Deepali's words. It acted as a catalyst.
When he got to know about Madhu's intentions he is on top of the world. He got gold medal. For him he is not testing Madhu's love. He is testing his own destiny which is full of failures till now.
Like a kid who got a distinction after getting only 35 marks all the time he wants to show that he got distinction to the world especially to Deepali .
Life tests us everyday in different ways and makes us what we are. Rishabh was tested and failed and became RK.
About Madhu - She got unconditional love from people around her. Though she faced hurdles from her father she got Malik who loves her immensely without any relation or bond. She
got Roma, Trishna, and her mom. She always passed in distinction in the tests given by life.
Her father tried to kill her - she got Malik
RK wants to destroy her and married her - She got love, respect from the same man who humiliated her.
She never faced failure like Rishabh faced. It is a blow to her when she listened RK and Deepali's convo.

And I concur with your POV regarding the love test.
And I want to add my thoughts here so that we all remember when we watch the episode tomorrow.
On Dec 18th episode this happened:
Madhu says: Pyaar saabit karne ka koi tareeka hai to batao.
RK answers: Meri Sharte sunke to tum darr (something like that word) gayi !
This conversation is TACIT agreement that Madhu is okay with her proving herself of rather willing to QUALIFY for RK's LOVE as she is OKAY to have CONDITIONAL GRANT by Rishabh Kundrato be allowed by him to love him as it was him who felt Madhu does not love him.
So, I am really not sure why Madhu was so shocked in yesterday's episode but assuming that she must be upset that he was boasting all of this to Dipali or rather she did not like Dipali being there or rather this was just the test and that they are not actually going anywhere. So I am actually confused why Madhu was so upset like that and hence my entire analysis yesterday was focussed on DIPALI-MADHU-RK break-up vis-a-vis the ugly twisted relationship the three have and no one is able to burn it to end it...although stage is set now. Since CVs created this drama and NOT the actual characters, I have expressed by concerns like others.

I would like to add to this...
Madhu never truly faced a test alone, even when she went through hardships, there was always a very strong support standing by her. When RK humiliated her...he family stood by her, when RK was shot...Radha and Padmini stood by her, when Bhatias humiliated her ...RK stood by her. Almost all her efforts paid ...in some ways more than expected.
In contrast RK had to struggle alone...everyone wanted to partake in rewards of his success but no one wanted to share in his struggle or tests. Kuku Bhatia tried to launch his son but did Radha take a step to get Kuku help in RK's launch? He gave his all to each of his major relationships -Dad, mother and Dips but each of them walked away for thier own reasons and no fault of his. If he is fearful that Madhu will do the same then he is justified in that fear.
In some ways while RK has traversed a very rocky road ...Madhu still has her rose colored glasses on . I have mentioned this again and again that Madhu constantly surprises me with her simplicity (to the point of dumbness as is obvious with the way she deals with Dips)and the fact that she has not understood her husband or his hurt (as obvious by the way she keeps trying to push Radha down RK's throat).
She truly needs to grow up ...I hope this track will provide her that opportunity.

And continuing on the same Love Test Track...which is the vehicle for the CVs to reach destinations as Radha - Drama, Trishna -Drama and Malik-Padmini as Primary Focus of the CVs
Madhu had these three impediments -Radha, Trishna and Malik-Padmini and she failed the test the first time.
So RK fixed Malik-Padmini issue for Madhu which was also part of Trishna's problem.
Then RK started working on Trishna issue and hence Balraj induced drama.
The last of these drivers is Radha. Now Radha-RK's patch up in real sense being an obsession for Madhu...since Madhu promised to Radha during Ganesha Festival, the CVs seem to be using any device available for them to have Madhu negotiate with RK to patch up with his mother...She needs him to call her "MAA" and Radha keeps reminding Madhu to do that for her. And hence Madhu is always more about her promises to Radha than what Rishabh actually wants. Madhu is a smart negotiator and changes her strategy of priorities based on the situation. So if situation demands of her to prioritize Rishabh than anyone else, she prioritizes him, if she sees him all well and cosy, she goes about making him to all other things that she wants. She has always her own agenda. Rishabh does not even sense it when actually Madhu starts doing it, though he allows her doing it...like the matter of her forcing him to reconcile with his Ganesha. Now this time she is doing with Radha. Any hurt that Rishabh seems to inflict on her, she immediately uses the opportunity to ask of him what she wants. Like she asked last time to go and ask for Rads forgiveness if he wants her to support Padmini and Malik's marriage. Its just that Rishabh understands her and does please her in a different manner, she puts her agenda to back-seat to address it again later.
This trait of Madhu as the Preserver for Rishabh Kundra had started coming up since they both accepted their marriage as reality since Ganesha track days. We can see how, she obsessively is after forcing things to him and breaking his Rishabh walls of privacy:
- Restoring your Faith,
- Reconciliation with your father's death,
- If accepted the marriage with me, then better live it as well...like I cook and you eat (sarson ka saag-khana khilana), I take care of you and you let yourself be cared (recovery track), I pray for you and you let me do that (KC track)
- and now working on your issues with your mother.
Just that its pathetic that, Dipali-Handling is not yet on her RADAR for his and her preservation For God's sake she was throwing you out of your own house against your own husband's wishes
Let me not start again with the clunk that Dipali introduced through this love test track. In my opinion, there should have been a different way to handle RK insecurities. I have never approved of Dipali's instrumental hand (becomes her blessing actually) in actually making Madhu do all the above listed things for RK. If not for Dipali, Madhu would never have started on that path. How pathetic is that ?
And in all this ...the Pawn for the drama is the Drama King himself...Rishabh Kundra. What a paradox it is that he is being played by these two women like a football...manuvering him to reach their goal post.

Agreed...I mentioned this yesterday too that I see no reason for Madhu to feel hurt ...she asked him to test her and he did. As a matter of fact she failed his test first time...he cheated by granting her allowance to fix the families to make her pass the test. I guess he wanted it so bad that he decided to cut her some slack.
Even God is said to test the faith of his devotees then why should love be any different specifically under the light of the fact that Rishbala love started in a very unconventional way and both have ample reason to want to hurt each other/destroy each other and there is no other weapon as powerful or as hurtful as love. It might sound unsavory when you say it out loud, but the fact is we test all our relationships in our small little ways every single day- sometimes life forces us to do it , sometimes we do it as a choice.
Interestingly I think that life has tested Rishbala love and faith on each other again and again. It tested RK for faith when he found out that Shamsher was out to kill him and when he shared his past, it tested him again for fidelity when Dips tried to seduce him, It tested him yet again for compromise when Madhu wanted him to attend the Karwa chauth and then again for understanding when Madhu failed his test.
Similarily life tested Madhu for humanity when RK got shot, for faith at KC. She failed the test of love but later passed the test of faith when she agreed to follow RK to end of the world. The current scenario is a retest of faith and love.
Having said it the current track is dealt with maturity a lot can come out of it-
1) Closure of past- RK has always clubbed the betrayal of his parents (which I think is an over-reaction) and that of Dips in same category. He needs to understand his parent's betrayal was a result of circumstances beyond thier control while Dip's was a matter of choice --- Big difference. Also his parents did not mean to hurt him while Dips probably did. Once he realizes that he will be able to let go of his fears, forgive Radha and move on. Radha sharing her side of story and circumstances surrounding Mohan Kundra's death.
2)Madhu needs to understand her husband and his fears. She also needs to know he might be intelligent but he is not infallible. He is vulnerable too in some ways and he needs her to guide him when he is wrong. She also needs to understand that there are people out to hurt them and with ulterior motives. If she wishes to hold onto RK then she has to work for it and be practical. Her being goody two shoes is not going to work in his world.
3)Dips chapter should be closed at least temporarily for some time.
4) A revisiting of the decision to leave it all and live in anonymity vs trying to have the best of both the worlds.
On a different note, I wonder how the Maliks and Kundras will feel when they find out that Trishna decided to sign up with Balraj and keep him a secret despite knowing how big of a danger he was to her family. Will they feel betrayed?
