Manyata Kapoor

a girl from an average home. Whose world revolved around her sister and mom and a crazy best friend.

21 year old broadcasting and journalism final year student at UCLA University' hardworking, determined. She is a beautiful young lady (who obviously doesnt think or know just how beautiful she is) whose sole purpose in life is to build a better life for herself and her family. Her dad had walked out on them when she was just 11 (left for another women) and jai her younger sister had just turned 6. She pleaded and cried when her dad was leaving to stay yet he still walked out saying he longer loved her mother. Manyata used to watch her mom cry every night, she faced the struggles and hardships and had a made a promise that no man would ever make her that helpless and dependent. Love was the furthest thing from manyata's mind' put simply she did not believe in or need it.

Jai Kapoor

Jai was the total opposite. She loved make-up, clothes, shopping, movies and most things a normal teenager loves' She loves her sister deeply yet they always fought as manyata was quite the tyrant at home. She believes in happily ever after and a prince charming'. Her prince being Damon from Vampire Diaries'.. She is always trying to get her ''jiji'' to try a new style or have a facial. Her famous line to her sister' '' Like seriously jiji'''.(lol) Always fun watching manyata and jai together..a beautiful bond between two sisters.

Best friend of Manyata since junior school. They have been inseparable. Also in her final year at UCLA.. editor of the uni newspaper. Kim knows all of the pain that manyata tries to hide so very well. She comes from a prominent, influential family.. The Malhotra's are well known in the commerce sector. Has a younger brother Karan who is secretly in love with jai. Kim is beautiful, loud and very protective of manyata yet when together with jai always teasing her and mimicking her bossy ways. Her parents are quite the arrogant snooty upper class who don't approve of her friendship with plain average manyata. Kim never listens to them and most of the time they are never around. Her dad always on business and her mom either at the beauty parlour or at the some fancy party. Kim is quite the flirt and seems to fall in love everyday with latest handsome hunk' (LOL) and after a few days manyata is left picking up the pieces of her kimmy's broken heart'. But kimmy recovers soon' (lol) only to find disappointment with the next guy'..they have an amazing friendship these 2 amidst all manyata's scolding and kimmy's mischievous hair brained schemes'.

Simple, cute and very caring. Both kimmy and karan practically grew up in the kapoor house. He loved Aunty Komal as she was ever so caring and sweet'.not to mention she makes the best aloo paratha's. Both kimmy and karan loved visiting and spending time at the kapoor's house, they felt normal there. Their homes had all the luxuries yet it lacked the biggest thing LOVE'.

Rahul Arora

A sweet, simple guy. Also studying at UCLA.. his masters in Arts and Crafts. Something that he is passionately good at Photography, infact he is very rarely seen without his camera. Close friends with both Kimmy and Manyata. Secretly has a crush on Manyata.. and kimmy is always teasing him. She always notices his soft spot for manyata'

(Wait did I mention that he is gorgeous'. as in model in a magazine gorgeous' lol) Oh yes and the enigmatic CEO of Singh Enterprises Inc and Singh Media House. Always gets what he wants, he was adopted at the age of 5 by his now parents. His dad a renowned heart specialist and his mom a famous author. Completed MBA at Harvard and has never looked back since climbing and making a name for himself. Has serious commitment issues, not wanting to be attached to anything or anyone.
