Those of you who are wondering as to why there is no Sanaya Irani-Mohit Sehgaljodi in Star Plus' popular celebrity couple dance show Nach Baliye 5…well, here comes the answer from the table of Tellychakkar.com.
There has been a lot of buzz in the social media platform with Mohit and Sanaya not being a part of the project.
So we decided to check with Mohit. Here's what he said "We were in talks with the production house (Frames) and the channel, but unfortunately we could not come to a common figure. The budget was an issue. We did not feel that the money on offer was enough for all the hard work which we would have required to invest."
So any chance of seeing you guys in the wild card round? "We have not been approached till now, so don't think it will happen this season at least."
Mohit who is currently doing Khamoshiyan again on Star Plus though would love to do a celebrity dance show. "I am a good dancer and the training would defiantly do us a world of good."
When contacted producer Ranjit Thakur (Frames Production Company Pvt Ltd. ) for his side of the story, he said, "No comments. Busy in a shoot, will call and chat later."
Ideally, Mohit and Sanaya should have been a part of Nach as they are Star discoveries (Mohit debuted with Miley Jab Hum Tum and Sanaya finally found fame with Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?) but we guess finally it is the moolah that counts .
