Its the first time that I have made a post in this forum, that is the Debate Mansion. Would really love to hear your point of views on the following.
True Love
We all ask our self the question, "What real love is or what truly love is?" Everyone has different answers to this question and all of it depends on ones point of view or on how one perceives and conceives love as being.
This thing called love that we all wish for, pray for, want, need, search for and even claim that we can't live without it or can give ones life for it, what is it really??
Some say love is all powering
Some say its all conquering
Some say love knows no bounds
Some say love is sacrifice
Some say it is want
Some say it is trust
Some say its happiness
Some say its life
And above all, they say it God.
For every individual human love means different things, but one thing is clear that love is not selfish, love is not taking, love is not only happiness always, nor is love a fleeting moment here today and gone tomorrow. Love does not ask questions and demand answers, love is complete trust and trust is love. It's to trust one partner without needing to know of their comings and going. To want another to be happy, truly happy, with or without that person being in your life is real love. Love is giving without asking or expecting any thing in return.
Love is not fear, distrust, overpowering, controlling, guilt or pity. In love there is no place for jealousy or obsession. It's not a want to possess or destroy that person. It's not a deal or promise to have complete ownership over a person and nor can it be forced.
Love begins when one is being truthful and honest to oneself. Honestly and truthfulness to oneself and the other is true or real love. Too be in peace with oneself is real love.
There are different types of love we may say, example the love for your parents, your siblings, your children, your better half, for your friends, etc. But the fundamentals for true love are the same.
So my question to all of you, out there, "What does true or real love mean to you?"
Secondly, who in your opinion is truly in love in all the on going drama or book that you have read. And why do you think so.
Would love, to read your lovely, answers and POV.
Love
Krishna
