The prospect of losing his love and respect frightens her, and that came thru clearly yesterday when she says to herself that she cannot bear to see nafrat for herself in Onir's eyes.

But where on earth does this girl plan to run off to this time? Poor Onir, half his life is going to be spent tracking his Mishti down on her periodic peregrinations.

To revert, given all this, if Arjun-Purvi were to be reunited, with or without the baby being the key factor, I feel Onir would be as great a burden of guilt for Purvi as Archana was once. Even if he says he will let her go back to Arjun, and willingly, the knowledge of what this will do to him will haunt her. There is no clean slate in life.

I think the kind of girl she has been throughout, as I wrote in my response to Janhvi on her ARVI today thread, will not choose her love over what she owes to, and by now feels for Onir. It should ideally end up a la HDDCS.At least, that is what I hope. It will leave Purvi's original image intact, all her interim follies notwithstanding, and the audience will love it!

@green. Yes she's scared, but I think her fear is misplaced. He may be surprised when he hears about her past. However as he has repeatedly said it does not matter. I hope he isn't made to eat thse words.

@blue When things with Arjun were getting crazy and he couldn't come out of the engagement with Ovi, I had wished that Purvi ran away and Arjun would traipse through various villages and cities of India in search of her. My motivation for this was then I would be able to sightsee through India without leaving the comfort of my own home. If Onir is going to traipse all over India in search of his Mishty, I won't complain as longa s they show the sights of India. Maybe Ekta is trying to pursuade actors to stay in the series by promising them exotic locations to shoot in. Kolkata just being one such place.

Iagree with everything said @pink Shyamala. That would fit perfectly into her character and the maine theme of the show> Pavitra Rishta.

@blue - EXACTLY - and that would have been more in tune with her character than her agreeing to marry him. In fact, if not then, when Archana slapped her and she went out of the house at night, she should have run away. MUCH, MUCH better as a story than what they have dished out. And re Bharat Darshan - good idea.. as it is, Archana's 3 sons in law (or potential) are from 3 different parts of the country. We should have some other states for Sachin, Soham, Punni and the rest of the crew. National Integration is a kind of pavitra rishta. Good idea!

I am keeping my toes and fingers crossed that Purvi is carrying twins, the good doctor's, of course. That way her character will remain unsullied as also Arjun's. The latter cannot be accused then of fathering two babies with two sisters at the same time.

I do not really see WHERE she can go except back HOME, to her own home in Kolkatta where she can live untroubled and rule over her establishment and her doting husband, She would be very foolish if she took to wandering around the country, as she did 7 months ago, in her present state.

Incidentally, I think she was always intending to go back home as soon as possible, as she tells Shambuda , unless that was a placebo for the poor old man.

Secondly, if it is Arjun's child, she must be between 7 and 8 months gone, which means that her baby would arrive in around another month. As Archana is obviously intending to keep her there till then, the Ds would find out then, without any need to sneaking a look at medical reports, that the baby could not be Onir's . A 2 months premature baby cannot possibly be confused with a full term baby. So if it was Arjun's. what was Purvi thinking of when she landed up at the Ds? That is another reason for believing that it is not Arjun's baby. Not that all this logic has any meaning here!
