Chapter Two - The Captivating Eyes

I slowly opened my eyes and turned towards my left.

I sighed.

There he lay, sleeping serenely. He looked at ease. I hadn't seen a look of so much comfort on his face in days. Not since the night I was taken to the hospital.

I made sure not to wake him as I began to remove the pillows dividing us.

What's the point of the pillows now? I remember thinking to myself.

As I reached the last pillow, I placed it behind me and slid closer towards him.

I laid my face down in front of his and felt his breath brushing against my skin. I closed my eyes in utter content as I felt the tingling sensation of his breath against my lips.

I opened my eyes and smiled, as he remained asleep.

I ran the back of my hand gently down his face as he slept.

He began to move, I watched as he became comfortable and then placed his arm around my waist.

I took a look at my waist and then glanced back towards him, he was still sleeping like a baby.

I scooted even closer to him. Close enough for our chests to touch. Close enough for him to feel my rising chest with every breath I took.

I wrapped my arm around him and admired his face.

I saw him smile with his eyes closed.

"Am I dreaming...?"

He spoke softly. I smiled and gently caressed his hair as I answered him.

"Not this time."

He smiled and slowly opened his eyes.

I watched as he took in my face, his eyes moving from my lips and back to my eyes.

"How can you be so beautiful?"

He questioned me passionately as his eyes continued to explore my facial features.

I felt my cheeks flushing red, I lowered my eyes as I blushed.

I felt his hands caress the side of my face gently. I closed my eyes and smiled as my pulse sped up.

"Can I ask you something Madhu?"

"Yeah..."

"I don't want to spoil the mood, but..."

"Ask me RK."

I opened my eyes and looked at him sincerely, showing him that it was okay for him to ask.

I realized what he was about to ask, and I knew I was ready to answer.

"Why'd you...hide it from me...?"

I smiled, as I guessed right. I placed my hand on the side of his face as he stared at me with questioning eyes.

"Honestly, at first...I didn't think you deserved to know...but then...in the end, I just didn't want to hurt you. I didn't know how to tell you and then all of a sud..."

He cut me off by putting his fingers to my lips.

We locked eyes. His soft eyes turned into passionate eyes.

I stared into his dark, mysterious yet captivating eyes, unable to pull my gaze away.

He rolled over on top of me, not placing his entire weight on me in fear of hurting me I assumed.

He brought his face closer to mine as I closed my eyes. I felt his breath mixing with mine and then he whispered into me softly.

"I love you."

aww its just perfect!

I loved it Pritt!!' The pillow wall is finally gone :) their bed scene was really quite romantic and I hope something like this happens in the show well done :)
