She is right. How did 100 crore hits help Asin or Sonakshi or Kareena? Asin and Sonakshi are just props in big films. Kareena will be remembered more for films like JWM, Chameli than some brief roles in 100 crore hits.

100 crore, 200 crore hits make more difference to male actors than female actors.

I think it really helps a girl get lots of commercials and other parts in more meaningful movies. I believe Katrina got JTHJ based on her Box Office pull. Also 100 crore films have good songs. So you can dance to them at many shows and get paid. Of course it helps the guys more. Like Sonakshi got a part in Lootera or OUATIM 2 not cuase her acting but her pull at bo. But now I think she will act good in those films .

Also right now unless your Salman Khan you need to have hits and be a good actor/actress. Or you will be scrutinized
