Success is a heady mix and very few people are able to digest it with grace.Siddharth Shukla who has become a well-known name post his entry in Color'sBalika Vadhu as the other man in Anandi's (Pratyusha Banerjee) life is the next apparent victim of stardom. According to our sources, Siddharth, who has previously done shows such as Jaane Pehchaane Se Ye Ajnabbi and Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na, is now becoming too big for his boots.
Our khabru goes on, "Initially when he had entered this Sphere Origins production last year he was punctual and did exactly what he was asked to. But now he does things the way he wants to. He takes extra time in his make-up room and never dresses up on time."
The khabru adds, "He does not even come to the sets on time. So basically his popularity is getting difficult for him to handle as in these small ways he is giving the team a tough time."
However when we spoke to Siddharth he dismissed all this talk as mere rumours 'just as the news doing the rounds that Pratyusha Banerjee is being replaced by Sriti Jha'.
"To put the record straight though I wish to say that I give extra time to this project, does this not show my sincerity. As for my make-up room, it is right in the middle of the sets and my door is always open so any one can come in and ask me to come out anytime."
When asked as to who could be spreading such news? he said, "May be some jealous people who can't see other's rise."
We tried to contact producer Sunjoy Wadhwa, but he remained unavailable for comment.
