Stereotypes

Hi.... I think u guyz must have heard of many stereotypes... But are most of em true... Tell me sum dat might b... 😊

Hey Amna, wonder why noone replied here, so here I go-

Stereotypes are they true or not? - well your questions is kinda of confusing, but I'll anyways write what i feel about stereotypes.

Stereotyping is just a way in which we humans classify people based on our way of write/wrong and our sensibilities, and also based on the groups we see people forming(the studious one's, adventurous one's etc). So we basically do it for our convenience so that we can choose which group to be in.

People also stereotype others if that other person gives out an impression of being into something all teh time (padhaku keeda, sports freak etc.)

But i don't think its right to stereotype people, cause if you dont know someone you really cnnot typecast them. Plus why give tags? Suppose you stereotype me as a bookworm, whereas in reality i may not be a bookwork, i maybe into tennis, poetry, arts, fashion, maybe u just don't know it. Now since you stereotyped me as bookwork, you maynot want to be my pal, that way we may be missing out on knowing each other, who knows maybe you like fashion too?
