~ Prologue ~

It's been 6 months that Zoya has been living in Asad's house; but only 3 months, since they fell in love.

It was a Saturday night and Asad was stuck at a meeting, when he was suppose to be spending time with Zoya. As Asad checked his watch it was 11:30pm, when he pulled up to the driveway of his house.

"I hope Zoya isn't sleeping." Asad thought, as he sneeked in upstairs to Zoya's room, hoping Najma and his Ammi wouldn't wake up. As he slowly, opened the door, he saw Zoya cuddled up with her teddy bear, sitting next to the window. Asad sneeked up to her and closed her eyes and slowly whispered to her ears "Guess Who?"

"AAHHH" Zoya screamed, as Asad quickly put his hand on her mouth.

"Aap?" Zoya said, as she took the teddy bear and hit Asad with it.

Zoya turned around, her back facing Asad and said "I'm not talking to you"

"Jaan, I'm sorry, it was an important meeting, I didn't have a choice!"

"More important than me?" Zoya said.

"Jaan, ofcourse not. Nothing is more important to me than your happiness; but It was an important deal, I couldn't resist." Asad replied. "Look what I've got you, Jaan, you're favorite: Chocolates." Asad said, as he pulled her towards him and gave her the box.

As, Zoya took the box, she pushed Asad, away from her and starting eating the chocolates, like a maniac. "I'm still not talking to you." Zoya said. Asad couldn't see her upset, so he hugged her from the back and started to kiss her cheeks, knowing Zoya couldn't resist. Zoya faced him and stared into his eyes, and said "Tomorrow, we are going to a place, of my choice, okay?"

"Umm...Actually.." Asad was stuttering, as Zoya cut him in "What now?"

"Well, tomorrow, we need to go to the mall." Asad replied.

"Why?" Zoya said.

"One of my clients is having a New Years Party, and we are invited to it."

"REALLY?" "Akdu Ahmed Khan, going to a party?" Zoya said, in shock.

Zoya started to laugh, as Asad stared at her, and said "Zoya? Ammi and Najma are sleeping!' "

"Oops Sorry. I forgot." Zoya said.

"Its late at night, we'll talk tomorrow, I have to go and change, anyways." Asad replied, as he was headed towards the door.

"This quick?" "But..you, just came?" Zoya said with a Sad tone.

"Jaan, tomorrow, we'll be together, the whole day, I promise. Okay?" Asad said.

"Okay, Bye, Sweetheart." Zoya said, as she got her teddy bear and head towards the bed, to sleep."

Part 1

It was morning and Zoya was the first one awake. As Dilshad, headed towards the kitchen, as she saw Zoya putting food on the table and asked "Are you okay, Zoya?"

"Yeah, Phupi, Better than ever. Why?" Zoya asked.

"Zoya..? You're awake, this early and prepared Breakfast, too!" Dilshad replied.

"Yeah..Phupi, I couldn't fall asleep, the whole night."

"But...Why? Is everything okay?" Dilshad asked, concerned.

"Phupi, actually today, your beloved son Akdu Ahmed Khan promised to spend the whole day with me tonight."

"Reaally? That's a first. Zoya, he's really lucky to have you in his life, you really changed him."

"Noo, Phupi, I'm lucky to have him in my life. He brings a smile, to my face every day."

"Good Morning" Asad and Najma said at the same time, as they both entered the kitchen.

"Mmm.. something smells good. What did you cook, Ammi?" Najma said.

"Don't look at me, Zoya made breakfast today." Dilshad said.

"WHAT?" Asad shouted. "Zoya and cooking. I can't believe it."

"What happened Zoya, these days you're preparing to be an ideal wife, for bhai jaan?" Najma said.

Zoya started to blush "Umm..actually no tomato, I woke up early and had nothing to do."

Asad quickly changed the topic and said "Zoya be prepared, were going to the mall, in one hour." "Ammi or Najma, do you guys want to come too? "

"No , its okay. You guys go along" Dilshad said.

"But Ammi, we need to buy something, since we are going to Aunt Shail's house, for the weekend." Najma said.

"Not needed, Najma, I already bought something. Asad, I hope you and Zoya are fine, that we are leaving you two alone for the weekend. You two need to take-care and behave." Dilshad said; as Asad and Zoya looked up and blushed, hearing the word BEHAVE!"

The Mall-

"Zoya, hurry up! We've been here for 2 hours and you can't find a simple dress?" Asad said, starting to lose his temper.

"Sorry, Mr. Akdu Ahmed Khan, but it's very easy for you, to find an outfit. You always wear a suit to work and at home, you don't need to look for anything, else." Zoya said, in disappointment.

"How about this purple one." " It's cute, nay? Zoya said

"Aap ke pagal hai? Asad said, screaming! "Are you mad? How can you even think of wearing such a short dress and sleeveless, too! How can you even think, that I'll allow you to wear such a dress?😡

"Asad, are you blind, this dress is long and does have sleeves." Zoya said yelling back at him.

"This is what you call long? Asad said, pulling the dress off the rack and showing it to Zoya.

"You truly are crazy." Zoya said, laughing.

"You think this is funny? You might have worn these type of dresses in New York; but not anymore, not as long as you want to be Mrs. Asad Ahmed Khan."

"Asad, relax! I didn't wear these type of dresses in New York, either. And I wasn't even referring to that dress, I was referring to that long purple one, next to it. But now that you've mentioned it that short dress, is pretty cute. I'm curious, why, you've been starring at that dress. Some type of picture in your mind? Hu?" Zoya said.

"Um...No, the long purple one is fine. Let's go pay for it."😳 Asad said, as he was headed towards the register, when something caught his eye.

First I'd like to Wish Everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR and hope 2013 brings joy towards everyone!

Sorry for Short update, but I'm kind of busy with New Year, today and also my school vacation is about to end, so I have a lot of school work to finsih.

Part 2-

As Asad was paying for the dress, he saw in the next store, through the reflection, Rashid Ahmed Khan and Siddiqui, it made him burst with anger.

"Asad, its okay." Zoya said. " We need to go before, we get late."

Asad controlled his anger, just for his Zoya.

It was the night of the NEW YEARS Party and Asad was impatiently waiting for Zoya to finish getting ready. "Zoya, hurry up, were gonna be late!" Asad said as he was pacing back and forth, suddenly he heard the door open and saw a beautiful Zoya head towards him in a long lovely purple dress with her long straight hair out, with small curls in the bottom. He couldn't take his eyes off of her, until she broke the silence. "Shall we go?" Zoya asked.

"Umm...yeaa. You look beautiful, Jaan." Asad said.

Zoya blushed and said "Shall we?" as she headed towards the door.

At the party

As Zoya and Asad walked inside the hall, Asad noticed that many were staring at Zoya and couldn't take their eyes off of her. Zoya thought it was funny, so she just gave a smile and put her eyes down, when she saw Asad burning from jealousy. Asad started to walk closer to Zoya and pulled her towards him.

Asad introduced Zoya to his clients and after a while got seated to enjoy the party. As Asad and Zoya were talking, one of Asad's clients came and offered them drinks.

"No thank-you." Asad said. "I don't drink."

"Come on Sir, you need to loosen yourself a little, you're always so serious. It won't hurt if you drink once in awhile and its New Years, too!" Said his drunk client.

Zoya started to laugh and Asad gave a serious look and said "NO thank-you!"

His client just left the drinks on the table and said "I'm sure you'll change your mind."

Suddenly, the music started and Zoya said"Asad, this is my favorite song. Come one, let's dance; please!" Zoya got up and pulled Asad to the dance floor.

The music was for a slow-dance, so Zoya couldn't believe Asads let her pull him to this.

As Asad looked to Zoya's eyes, he was lost in his own world. He started to pull her closer to him and wanted to kiss her right there, not caring that everyone was staring, besides its not like they were the only ones on the dance-floor. But before he could do anything, Zoya stopped him, knowing that he might regret it later. As the song was about to finish and their were gonna take their seats, Asad noticed MamuJaan and Rashid sitting in another table, shocked in what they just saw.

" I should've known, they also have some connections with these clients." Asad thought.

Asad was fuming with anger, and quickly went to his seat. Asad wasn't paying attention, so he unintentionally drank the cup in front of him, which he thought was water. Zoya, also didn't pay attention and drank her cup.

At Rashid's table, Mamujaan was shocked, why did the girl look so familiar, who was she? But he decided to take it off his mind and started to taunt Asad, saying he is such an ill mannered boy, for doing such things. "Rashid, what has Dilshad thought him, slow dancing with a girl, that too a complete stranger?" Not knowing that Asad and Zoya are engaged.

Rashid replied "No Dilshad would never allow this! There must be something, behind it; I must find out." But Mamujaan, wasn't paying attention, "How do I know, this girl?" He thought.

As their sight, made Asad fume with anger, he kept on drinking and asking for refills, when suddenly Zoya who hasn't drinked that much, noticed what has happened, tried to stop, Asad; when suddenly she heard the countdown for the NEW YEAR, 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1...HAPPY NEW YEAR, everyone shouted!

And as all the couples started to kiss, so did Asad and Zoya, since know they wouldn't be standing out in the crowd. Asad hold Zoya as close as possible, and kissed her gently; but that gentle kiss ended up to become a deep passionate kiss, when there two lips met and they broke the kiss, when there was need for oxygen. Both Zoya and Asad had huge smiles on their face; but in the background Rashid and Mamujaan couldn't believe what there eyes have just seen.
