Barun sobti: A BW legend to be?

Now Barun Sobti has taken the plunge and decided to give BW a go, lets ask whether Barun actually has it in him to become an A-lister?

I personally think he has the makings of a BW legend. Why? Well let's compare him to the 3 Khans!

SRK: SRK left TV decades ago, with no Godfather, and has seen meteoric success by initially taking on more unconventional roles (Darr, Bazigaar) and then proving his worth as a romantic hero in Yash Chopra classics. Barun has left TV in a flurry of media attention and has nabbed himself 2 films. We all know he can be the romantic hero on screen. Let's see if his upcoming projects showcase another facet of his acting ability, especially in his sports related movie. For a man with no mentor or Godfather, he's certainly achieved a lot.

Salman Khan: Salman is great at playing cheeky and romantic and is pretty much on the top spot in BW right now. Think romantic Barun Sobti in IPKKND and think Salman in Maine Pyaar Kiya - reminds me that both can woo their leading ladies like the best of them. Barun left the show with a bit of controversy, but like this Khan, has managed to weather most of the potentially bad press that came his way. Barun's offscreen antics remind me of the cheekiness of Salman - perhaps we'll see Barun in a Dabbang type role somewhere down the line?

Aamir Khan: This man has been around for a looong time but still can wow the audience with his intensity and brilliant acting. This man has worked hard to understand the film making process both onscreen and offscreen. Barun reminds me of Aamir (the same pretty look that Aamir used to have) - he has that same intensity. No one can question his dedication at all. I can even say he's becoming a better and better actor with time. There is a real possibility that years from now he can wow us with the same kind of intense, meaty roles that Aamir gives us. Maybe we'll even see Mr Sobti as director and producer of his own projects??

But as fro Mr.Sobti , I am not sure, time will tell, i think after the release of first movie and its reception by the general audience , they may end up loving him.

I liked him in IPK,he will make it , if he is committed like the Khans..he can compete with Khans..

Also we have an influx of TV stars like Ayushman, Sushant Singh , Ram Kapoor into BW with low budget but high social message movies ,some of them highly successful in the box office. And great movies .All I can say is , we have to wait and watch.

We also have the Veteran actors sons, like Ranbhir , Imran, Kunal KAPOOR who are pretty versatile for their genre and well versed in the BW norms of dialogue delivery,dancing skills, uninhibited for romance scenes and most importantly big banner backups.

barun sobti is a babe...he is hot n cute at the same time .he knows how to act n change himself based on the character . he has a obsessed fan following i bet none of those khans has.i would say he is kind of better then all of those khans...
