This is an interesting comparison, because on one end you have 3 established "stars" that have evolved into their current stature and on the other end, you have an actor who is getting ready to kick off his Bollywood career. My immediate thought is that of a 1500 meters race track, where the 3 Khans are near the finish while Barun is yet to take off from the starting point. Barun still has a long way to go before he can reach where the 3 Khans are right now.

Talent is such a rare commodity in today's Bollywood. Barun Sobti literally stopped me on my tracks with his expression and made me take notice of a television show - a first in my lifetime. Hands down, there is no doubt in my mind that Barun Sobti is talented and has potential to succeed.

Times have changed since the 3 Khan's came into the picture and it is a lot harder for budding actors to make a mark. Success that comes overnight, might be difficult to maintain, where as a gradual success seems more sustainable.

Barun's talent is still rough around the edges, as an actor he is growing with each role he does. So, it's vital to see what kind of projects he is going to choose. He is one of the few actors whom I feel has the ability to modulate his voice as the scene demands; that coupled with his expressions leave audiences spell bound. His best feature is his eyes, they are very soulful.

While he can modulate his voice, he still needs to improve his diction (enunciation). He also needs to work on his posture. He needs to learn how to handle the media & how to articulate his thoughts better. These are areas where he still has a lot to learn & he has the potential to learn as well.

SRK and Aamir Khan are brilliant at handling media. Where the 3 Khans are right now has taken time and wasn't an easy path for them especially SRK.

Of the 3 Khan's, Aamir is the only one I would be willing to spend my hard earned money on and that is because he more about the script and the art of telling a story. But even Aamir is not perfect he has his own limitations, one that he understands.

Barun is young and all this is a learning curve for him. I hope he choose his roles carefully. He seems to have a strong fan following who are keen and determined to see more of him.

My personal hope for him is that he becomes an actor of substance than an actor with pretty face. When I see this young man, I see an actor in the making. I have never witnessed one before and I am glad to have caught this man's talent and opportunity to witness his growth. Fingers crossed he makes it and doesn't become one of the "could have been".

As for him becoming a legend, time holds the answer. Legends are not born overnight. If he is destined to be one, then there is no stopping him.

For now, all I can say is he is extremely talented and has potential. He is one whom I would watch out for.

Barun is an all rounder that's for sure. Having seen his past shows I can vouch for that much. He is a mix of all the Khans in some way or another but he also needs to find his own way, he need to find something he is good at that he will be known for. Srk is the king of romance, Sallu is the king of masala, and Amir is the king of quality.

Barun needs to find his usp, and maybe the angry young man is it, he may just be the next Amitabh Bachan and bring the angry young man trend back to Indian cinema. His popularity on television is exponential and I think he can carry that to Bollywood. His ability to emote only with his eyes and express with his face are one quality that no one can deny. He makes you sit up and stare.

I think Barun does lack when it comes to PR skills, he himself has accepted he's a bad dancer which is a must in bollywood. But he has done an excellent job in IPKKND and I think with a bit more effort, he can do well in bollywood. If I were to be honest, I am not impressed with MAMR or the new cricket movie he will be doing. But then again, it's very rare for an actor to get a legendary movie as his first. It will take time for him. Right now, all he has is his good acting skills, his good looks (which he needs to work on just a bit more) and our love and support. I don't know whether I'll be watching his movies or not - it really depends on how interesting they are - but I do wish him the best.

At the end of the day, everyone has flaws. I completely disagree with those who say he's going to be an instant hit in bollywood, because it takes time. I hope he does well. If it - god forbid - flops, he can learn something from that and always return to TV. After all, you need to make mistakes in order to learn from them. But I hope he gives whatever he does, his 100% nd does well in it. He gave ASR life, and he is the other half of SaRun <3 So he has my support and best wishes.

i was critical of his proffessionalism, but he is amazing as an actor...I can totally see him romance the girls better than SRK in the swiss alps , beat up the bad guys like salman *go BS go* and do some intense stuff like Aamir...a 3-in-one if one can say

He's going to redifine bollywood actors and put the existing actors to shame,but needs to improve upon his dancing skills if he intends to do a govinda style movie...he'll shine, no doubt about it⭐️
