Very eagerly Swayam checked his phone expecting a message from Sharon, and Sharon it was, as commanding as she always is.</font>
Sharon(sms): Check your email... NOW!
It is said distance makes your love grow. And in their case, it surely was proving to be true.
Swayam was already aware of his feeling. He was always very expressive about it. His love was a matter of pride for him. He would never leave an opportunity to make Sharon feel special. But this distance made him explore a new dimension. Now that she wasn't in front of his eyes, he would make sure to create situations to express himself and make her feel out of the world.
Sharon knew what she meant to him. She knew how much he loves her. She knew he would do anything for her. She knew all these cause he had expressed them to her. Though she had come to terms with her feelings before she left, it was this distance which made herrealizehow much Swayam and his love means to her. And more than that sherealizedhow much she means to him. She had finallyrealizedthat all her confusions that he deserves someone better was causing nothing but pain to him. He didn't need someone better. He needed her, just her.
It was finally time for her to come back. She wanted to surprise him. Since it was her, the surprise had to be extraordinary. Moreover, it was for most special person in the world. Her Swayam.
Swayam quickly checked his email. His heart was pacing fast while opening the email. There lied a mail from Sharon titled "Missing Life".
Over this one month of staying away, Sharon never told him "missing you", rather she would always tell him "i'm missing life!"
It brought an instant smile on Swayams face. He opened the mail. It read:
I've been missing life for way too long now and i cant take it anymore.Go home right now! You'll find a car waiting for you. Get on it. And don't even dare to ask the driver where you are going. He wont tell you. There's something waiting for you somewhere.
Swayam started jumping. He knew Sharon's back!
He immediately messaged her,
Swayam(sms): Are you back?????????????
He got an immediate reply.
Sharon(sms): I said there is 'something' waiting not 'someone'! and no m not back as yet :(
Swayam felt very low. He replied back,
Swayam(sms) : okay! but what will i do with 'something'?
its 'someone' i want :( :(
Sharon(sms) : You are getting late. I am sure you dont wanna miss it!! Go Now!!!!
Swayam(sms) : Okay 'Boss'!
Swayam messaged Rey saying he has to go somewhere urgently and to let everyone know too.
When Swayam reached home, he found a car waiting for him.
Driver:Sir, we need to leave in exactly 20 mins. You can freshen till then sir. Please don't be late. I will give you a reminder call in 15 mins.
Swayam(confused): Okay!
Swayam went inside, freshened up, changed and Swayam being the excited Swayam was in the car in 15 mins!
The driver gave him a parcel which contained his favorite juice pack and a couple of sandwiches. There was a note which read:
"EAT! i know you would not had eaten anything in your excitement. And remember don't ask the driver anything"
Swayam smiled and ate the sandwiches feeling Sharons love through her concern. He mentally told himself, isse hi pyaar kehte hai Sharon.
Swayam was lost throughout the journey and was shocked to find himself at the airport when the driver called out to him.
He exclaimed loud : "Sharon!!! Tum aa rahi ho, i knew it, i knew it!"
The driver stopped him and handed over an envelope to him.
Driver: Sir, Sharon ma'am has given this for you.
Swayam opened the envelope enthusiastically and found a ticket to Shimla in his name.
There was also a note saying,
"Don't you dare miss the flight!"
Swayam was too spellbound to even move. The driver ultimately shook him to bring him from his shock.
He checked the time on his wristwatch, thanked the driver and rushed inside the airport.
Sharon had planned a surprise trip for 'her life'. 'Her life' meant she and Swayam being together for her. She had told her family she is going back to Mumbai, but instead flew down to Shimla.
She couldn't wait to meet Swayam anymore. But there was still some time.
She was waiting impatiently in her room at the resort.
Swayam found a placard in his name outside the airport. By now he knew what was coming. The driver gave him an envelope as soon as he sat in the taxi. It read:
" i hope you had an exciting and impatient flight! even i can't wait any longer to meet you!! its a matter of a few more minutes, till then enjoy the goodies you'll find behind you"
Swayam enjoyed his favorite cookies and cold coffee. He closed his eyes, grinning eye to eye, impatient to meet his love, his life. He couldn't believe this was actually happening. A couple of hours back he was in college, and now he is in Shimla and he is about to meet Sharon and to the think of it all these were her plans.
The car finally came to halt and Swayam found himself outside a beautiful resort. It was evening, the resort was beautifully lit, a couple of teenagers were playing volleyball in the lawn. There was a soothing sound of water flowing from the nearby water fountain.
Swayam was greeted by a boy who handed him an envelope.
Swayam: Another one! Now what's coming?
He excitedly opened the envelope and found a note with a room key card. The note read:
Room No. 106
Swayam couldn't believe what was happening. He literally had to jerk himself to believe that it was not a dream. He followed Sharon's orders and reached room no 106.
He took a deep breath before inserting the key to open the door. He opened the door slowly, his heart beating super fast!
Sharon was pacing up and down. As soon as she heard the sound of the door knob turning, she froze. The world around her stopped. In that one moment hundreds of thoughts crossed her mind. This was it. This was the moment. Finally.
She hid herself against a wall so that Swayam won't be able to see her. She held her hands cupping her mouth, trying to calm herself.
Swayam opened the door slowly and peeped in. The room was dimly lit. He tried to locate Sharon, and slowly walked in.
Two hearts were beating at supersonic speed. Both were dying to meet their life, their heartbeat.
Swayam walked in slowly calling out for Sharon.
As he walked in he suddenly felt her hand on his right shoulder. He froze. Time stopped for him. He feared turning back, what if it was a dream.
Just then he felt another hand on his left shoulder. Soon the hands hugged him from behind and he could feel her face resting on his back. His eyes got teary.
Sharon was breathing very hard, almost gasping. She left alive touching him. Tears were flowing from her eyes. As soon as swayam realized that Sharon was crying, he immediately turned towardsher and hugged her tight. After a moment, he moved slightly back and cupped Sharon's face.
Both of them had tears rolling down their cheeks. At the same time, both had a huge smile playing on their face. Sharon was having small hiccups as she was trying to stop herself from crying. Swayam wiped her tears and hugged her once again.
They stayed hugging each other for nearly ten minutes, caressing each other. Finally Swayam broke the silence.
