The episode of Monday (24th december) really showed the epitome of devotion. The devotee Kushma told Or teaches us that whatever circumstances comes in our life, we should not forget our beloved Lord, & should always worship with true devotion & dedication. Speaking on the formation of 'Ghrishneshwar Jyothirlinga' here I'm sharing some information.
- PILGRIMAGE :-Grishneshwar is an ancient pilgrimage site revered as the abode of one of 12 jyothirlingas of Lord Shiva. It is located at a distance of 11 km from Daulatabad near Aurangabad in Maharashtra. Daulatabad was once known as 'Devagiri.' Located nearby are the famous Ellora caves-featuring ancient rock cut monuments from the 1st millenium CE. And Ajanta known for its exquisite cave paintings again from 1st millenium CE.
